President Joe Biden has been showing plenty of signs of aging in the past week, prompting more concerns and questions about the feeble, cognitively challenged 80-year-old president.
Of all the several incidents, there was one that is typically associated with early signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. On Wednesday, Biden repeated the same story almost word for word twice within minutes while speaking at a campaign fundraiser in Manhattan
The president was commenting on the 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Va., claiming this was what prompted him to run for president in 2020.
“You remember those folks walking out of the fields literally carrying torches, with Nazi swastikas, holding them forward, singing the same vicious, antisemitic bile — the same exact bile — bile that was sung in — in Germany in the early ‘30s. And a young woman was killed. A young woman was killed,” Biden said.

He would then regurgitate the debunked lie involving Trump’s reaction to that event, deceptively portraying the former president’s comments about the debate over tearing down statues as praise for white supremacists.
“[T]he former guy was asked, ‘What do you think would happen?’ He was the sitting president. And he said, ‘I thought there were some very fine people on both sides.’ And I mean this sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, that’s when I decided I — I was going to run again.”
Biden would repeat the story almost word for word a few minutes later.
On Thursday, Biden mistakenly praised the “Congressional Black Caucus” while addressing the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
A recent Associated Press poll showed that 77 percent of voters believe Biden is too old to be effective for a second term, including a whopping 69 percent of Democrats.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story as seen on X, formerly known as Twitter:
And the story is a lie. Par for Biden. Lie and repeat.

I wonder if Biden has convinced himself it’s true also.
