President Joe Biden’s celebrity backers are doing their part to prop up his troubled reelection campaign with some of the biggest names in Hollywood lending their fundraising clout to the octogenarian Democrat’s bid to stay in the White House.
This week, the deeply unpopular incumbent is expected to receive an infusion of more than $15 million into his coffers culminating with a star-studded soiree in Los Angeles hosted by acclaimed director Steven Spielberg and attended by Tinseltown high-rollers including Trump-obsessed actor and director Rob “Meathead” Reiner.
Biden’s left-coast trip follows a Boston event that featured a performance by singer-songwriter James Taylor where tickets reportedly fetched up to $7,500 per seat. Fox News Digital reported the expected haul based on information provided by “two sources close to the campaign and familiar with the president’s fundraising efforts.”
The Friday event will take place at the home of celebrity interior designer Michael Smith and his partner, former HBO exec James Costos, Barack Obama’s ambassador to Spain, and is expected to raise millions for Biden’s campaign from a crowd of glitterati who will be entertained by each other along with rocker Lenny Kravitz who will reportedly perform at the gala.

Tickets for the bash are going for as much as $930,000 each with left-wing icons including actress Barbra Streisand and former Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi also expected to attend, Fox News reports.
“We are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm. We don’t do many events, but when we do, we do it out of a great passion,” Smith said, according to the Associated Press which noted that the entertainment industry has “long served as the ATM for the Democratic Party.”
Biden’s schmoozing with the well-heeled Hollywood cultural elite drew reactions from users on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.

Biden and Democrats raised over $71 million in the third quarter that ended September 30, with the campaign already having a whopping $91 million on hand in October which the campaign said was the “the highest total amassed by any Democratic candidate in history at this point in the cycle,” AP reported.
In the third quarter, “97% of all donations were under $200 and the average grassroots contribution was $40,” campaign officials told Fox News Digital.
With polls showing that Biden is in deep trouble against former President Donald J. Trump in what’s shaping up to be a rematch of the 2020 election, there will likely be an all-out push by deep-pocketed Hollywood cultural degenerates to keep their man in the White House.
