The Democrats are finally ready to come clean about the extent of former President Joe Biden’s incompetence, and even their own voters say they deserve better.
While the right rang alarm bells about the former president’s cognitive decline, the leftists in the administration and the mainstream media continued to push the narrative that he was still sharp as a tack. This intellectually insulting campaign lasted until Biden was strong-armed out of the 2024 presidential race against President Donald Trump. Now that the United States is several months removed from the previous administration, information is coming out about who knew what, and for how long.
It’s so egregious that even Democrats are saying that voters deserved better.
Watch:
Biden voters are feeling betrayed, the more they learn:
Ashley Allison: “I worked for Joe Biden, if the people around him knew that he was not capable, it is unacceptable that they allowed him to go on that stage.
I deserve better as a voter, not even as a Democrat, as a voter… pic.twitter.com/mf9fqJoJU1— Eric Abbenante (@EricAbbenante) April 4, 2025
CNN political commentator Ashley Allison made the comments while discussing her own personal experience with the former president, and the picture she painted was not a flattering one.
“I hadn’t been around the president before that debate and, I worked for Joe Biden, and if the people around him knew that he wasn’t capable, it is unacceptable to me that they allowed him to go on that stage,” she said. “I deserve better as a voter, not even as a Democrat, as a voter and an American.”
Turning to Ana Navarro, host Abby Phillip wondered about Biden’s debate prep strategy, which, according to a new book, involved going out to the “pool” and a “nap.”
“Ana, I know that Joe Biden is a friend, but in this excerpt, the part about the pool, this is in the middle of debate prep and he went off to the pool and he took a nap,” Phillip said. “And that was before the biggest debate of this campaign, that’s not even the governance of the country. So, Joe Biden, maybe he has the best intentions, I’m sure that you believe that, but the right decision seems pretty unequivocally is that he should not have run for reelection.”
Ana’s response included a pretty interesting deflection.
“I was texting with Ron Klain, who said he was taken out of context,” she said.

I live in Kansas and I could tell from here.
Everyone has elderly relatives. We all know the signs.
If he were my grandfather, I wouldn’t have let him drive to Starbucks much less run the country.

Oh, for goodness sake, we all knew. If you didn’t, it’s because you choose not to see it.

Aren’t these the same people who told us for years that Obiden was “as sharp as a tack”?
