Biden’s creepy ‘daddy owes you’ ice cream comment to kids raises eyebrows

President Joe Biden creeped people out once again by telling children during a speech that “daddy owes you” ice cream and to see him afterward, cringing out everyone witnessing the statement.

He made the bizarre comment on Wednesday just before he started bragging once again about his administration’s non-existent accomplishments.

Biden was giving a speech in the East Room of the White House on the one-year anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act when he decided to make a regrettable statement that sounded a lot like a deviant offering children candy once again.

“I want to say one thing to your children. I know some really great ice cream places around here and daddy owes you, so talk to me afterwards,” Biden quipped to nervous laughter and blanching parents.

Then he launched into a delusional monologue touting his administration’s response to inflation, addressing skyrocketing costs that Americans are suffering just to buy everyday necessities like groceries or gas, not to mention rent/mortgage, utilities, and other must-haves. But Biden is pretending that Americans have never had it better.

“The Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal initially called my plan ‘Bidenomics.’ I’m not sure they meant in a totally complimentary way the time, but guess what, it’s working,” he asserted.

Vulnerable House Democrats including Reps. Susan Wild (D-Pa.) and Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.) don’t see it that way evidently.

“If you use the term, ‘Bidenomics,’ but somebody can’t afford their groceries, then they’re like, ‘Yeah, Bidenomics isn’t working for me,’” Wild told The Washington Post last week.

This is not the first creepy interlude with Biden. In October 2022, he was hammered by conservatives on social media for a comment he made to a young teenager in California when he told her “No serious guys until you’re 30.”

A month before that gaffe, he made a strange comment during a speech to the National Education Association, the nation’s largest teachers’ union.

The comment was similar to others he made as he spoke to a woman that he has known a long time.

“We go back a long way,” Biden stated, according to Fox News. “She was 12 and I was 30, but anyway. This woman helped me get an awful lot done. Anyway.”

Biden has a thing for ice cream. It’s almost a trademark with him and he indulges in the frozen desert whenever he gets a chance but his creepiness about it is legendary.

In March, he opened a speech about gun control and the Nashville Christian school shooting by talking about ice cream, kidding that it enticed him downstairs.

“I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband, and I eat Jeni’s ice cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream,” he joked according to Breitbart. “By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I’m kidding, I’m not.”
