Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin cut through the B.S. over the deluge of sob stories about Haitian “refugees” after the Supreme Court ruling that President Donald J. Trump can end their Temporary Protected Status (TPS), clearing the way for deportations.
Thursday’s 6-3 ruling that removed the protections from Haitian and Syrian nationals set off much weeping and gnashing of teeth from Democrats and the media, who bellowed that the hundreds of thousands of “refugees” from the Caribbean would face danger to their lives if they were forced to return.
But as is so often the case, the reality of the situation is a stark contrast to the misleading narrative put out by the gaslighting Dems and their surrogates, as many of the so-called “refugees” were among the millions who flocked to the U.S. under the open borders policies of disgraced former President Joe Biden and were no longer living on the godforsaken island when they came to America.
A large share of Haitians (and Cubans & Venezuelans) who were allowed in under Biden did not come from their home countries but from 3rd countries like Chile, Brazil and Spain, where they had residency & work permits. So they can return there if they don’t want to go home. https://t.co/yj1MEpyCxM

Melugin, who spent years at the porous southern border, confirmed that he personally spoke with Haitians who told him that they had already been living in Latin America for years before they headed north to reap the freebies after the senile former White House occupant rolled out the welcome mat.

“100% correct. When I was at the Del Rio, TX Haitian bridge camp in 2021, many of the Haitians told me they had been living in Chile & Brazil for years before coming to the US illegally for economic (not safety) reasons,” the reporter wrote in a post to X. “The Haitians were dumping & tearing up their Chilean documents at the river’s edge hide this fact from the US so it wouldn’t hurt their fraudulent asylum claims.”
“The idea that all these Haitians came directly from Haiti after an earthquake or assassination is false,” Melugin stated. “Many of them were living happily and safely for years in South America until Biden’s open border policies became too attractive to pass up. Others also flew into the US via Biden’s CHNV mass parole program which was supposed to be for only 2 year humanitarian parole grants. Of course, most never left.”
Melugin’s truth bomb was confirmed by Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas), who pointed out that the invaders weren’t fleeing persecution at all, but settling in middle American towns like Springfield, Ohio, to leech off the backs of American taxpayers, with anyone who complained being smeared as a racist.
By the way, many of the Haitians who were given TPS under Joe Biden did not come from Haiti. They were living in nations like Brazil and Chile and came here to take advantage of Biden’s open border. They were sent, not to Martha’s Vineyard or Sherman Oaks, but to blue collar,…

“By the way, many of the Haitians who were given TPS under Joe Biden did not come from Haiti. They were living in nations like Brazil and Chile and came here to take advantage of Biden’s open border,” the Lone Star State lawmaker wrote.
“They were sent, not to Martha’s Vineyard or Sherman Oaks, but to blue collar, midwestern towns like Springfield, Ohio. And the people there were called racist for objecting to the culture of the town they built being fundamentally changed overnight,” Gill added.
As the congressman noted, the Haitians refused to assimilate, bringing their own unique culture with them, although he didn’t mention the reports of unfortunate cats and dogs allegedly being snatched up and eaten by some of the foreigners who practiced that homeland culture in Springfield, a major scandal during the run-up to the 2024 election.
“These people have been on notice for nine years that this day is coming,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) general counsel James Percival told Fox News on Friday. “So what we would say now is that it’s closing time, which means you don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.”
Or as conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly put it without the sugar coating: “Go back to f**king Haiti!”
