NASA astronaut Victor Glover was asked about being the first black astronaut to travel around the moon as a member of the Artemis II mission to the moon, and his response may have come as a surprise to the woke Telegraph reporter.
Glover, who is the Artemis II pilot, spoke about the “tension” he experiences with the left’s fixation on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
“I live in this dichotomy between happiness that a young woman can look at Christina and just physicalize her passion, or her interest, or even if it’s not something she wants to do, she can just be like ‘girl power.’ And that’s awesome,” Glover said. “And that young brown boys and girls can look at me and go: ‘Hey, he looks like me, and he’s doing what?’ And that’s great, I love that.”
“But I also hope that we are pushing in the other direction, that one day we don’t have to talk about these firsts,” he continued. “That one day this is just — and listen to this — this is the human history. It’s about human history, it’s the story of humanity, not black history or women’s history, but that it becomes human history.”
Victor Glover absolutely SCHOOLS a woke reporter trying to get a DEI answer out of him..

The mission is NASA’s first crewed mission to the Moon in more than 50 years, since the Apollo era in the 1970s. Glover is joined by Commander Reid Wiseman, and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen (Canada).
This is Glover’s second trip in space. He piloted NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission to the International Space Station that launched in November 2020, spending 168 days in orbit and completing multiple spacewalks.
The first black astronaut in space was Guion Bluford aboard the Space Shuttle in 1983. Frederick D. Gregory was the first black man to pilot and command a Space Shuttle mission in 1989. Other black astronauts preceding Glover include Ronald McNair, Mae Jemison, and Stephanie Wilson.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
“I hope one day we can look at this as ‘human history’.” Victor Glover’s words are a powerful reminder that while our backgrounds matter, our destination is the same.
In 50 years, do you think we will finally stop labeling history by race and gender?#FutureHistory #VictorGlover… pic.twitter.com/q5RPsuhB0B— Andrew (@1981Descartes) April 3, 2026
Amen. This was the dream of MLK. He understands it all about human history. Let all youngsters dream to go to space and beyond.

Victor Glover is highly qualified, loves Jesus, and believes we should judge one another by the content of our character. He wants the victim mindset/obsession to stop and for us all to come together as people—to love and respect one another
