Social media users wondered “why does race matter” in reaction to a tweet posted by journalist Michael Harriot.
The author of “Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America” asked Twitter users “Do you care about the national anthem?” in a sort of poll that focused on skin color.
Americans, Please help settle this argument:

But while some responded with their thoughts about the national anthem, many other Twitter users dragged Harriot, whose bio on the social media platform describes him as a “board-certified wypipologist.”
