Boeing whistleblower made an ominous claim before ‘suicide’, friend claims

News of Boeing whistleblower’s untimely death rocked social media earlier this week, and the latest information to that mysterious story is sure to do the same.

Amid growing reports of faulty mechanics and dangerous mishaps, Boeing has been under fire for its controversial DEI hiring practices. As BizPac Review reported, John Barnett retired from Boeing in 2017 after working for the company for 32 years. He was part of a lawsuit against Boeing when news that he allegedly died from a ‘self-inflicted’ gunshot made some critics suspicious.

Barnett’s body was found in a parking lot on the same day he was to conclude closed-door testimony against Boeing.

Now, a woman who claims to have been a friend of Barnett’s is speaking out with some troubling allegations about Barnett’s ominous words.

“I know that he did not commit suicide. There’s no way,” a family friend who only went by Jennifer, told ABC 4.

Jennifer claims Barnett told her that he wasn’t particularly scared for his safety, but allegedly cautioned her that should anything “happen” to him “it wasn’t suicide.”

Jennifer also told ABC 4 that she believes somebody wanted to “shut him up.”

Jennifer isn’t the only one who isn’t buying her friend’s death was a suicide. Barnett’s attorneys also had expressed shock by the news of their client’s death.

“He was in very good spirits and really looking forward to putting this phase of his life behind him and moving on. We didn’t see any indication he would take his own life. No one can believe it,” the attorneys, Robert Turkewitz and Brian Knowles, said.

The investigation into Barnett’s death is ongoing.
