‘Border Czar’ Harris has NEVER spoken with the current or previous Border Patrol chief: report

Border czar turned presidential candidate Kamala Harris has reportedly never even once spoken with the current or former Border Patrol chief.

“Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens says Vice President Kamala Harris has not spoken with him since he was appointed in July 2023,” NewsNation reported Monday.

“Retired Border Patrol chief Raul Ortiz told CBS in March he also never spoke with Harris during his tenure from August 2021 through June 2023,” the outlet added.

This revelation comes three long years after President Joe Biden appointed Vice President Harris to serve as his border czar.

In that time, the number of criminal aliens crossing the border has ballooned, raising the question of what the hell Harris has been doing in her role as border czar, if anything at all.

NewsNation notes that she initially “made trips to some South American countries … to plead with people not to make the dangerous trip to the United States,” but that’s about it.

When it comes to actually securing the border, she’s done nothing.

If anything, Harris has made it a priority to focus on other countries’ borders — like, say, those of Poland.

In November of 2021, only months after being appointed border czar, she said that the Biden administration was “very concerned” about “what is happening at the border with Poland.”

The remarks prompted fury from former Trump administration official Stephen Miller.

Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox News Primetime” at the time, he said that the vice president’s obsession with Poland’s border security was peak “globalism.”

“That’s globalism at its worst — America going around the world defending the borders of every single country but our own. And that’s a big part of the reason that Donald Trump was elected … to press our government to secure our border here in the United States,” he said.

“This administration hasn’t just failed to secure the border; they’ve purposefully, maliciously opened that border in order to facilitate illegal entry into our country in record-smashing numbers,” the former Trump White House senior advisor added.

The vice president’s concern for the border crisis in Poland seemed inexplicable, given that there wasn’t much (if anything) she and other administration officials could have done to prevent it.

Conversely, the administration could have easily prevented the border crisis currently engulfing the southern U.S. border, according to Miller.

“If you talk to people who were senior-level career officials [during the administration’s transition into office], they warned the administration of every potentially disastrous, deadly consequence of removing, rescinding or terminating [Trump-era border] policies, but they did it anyway,” he said.

Why? Because “they want large-scale illegal immigration,” Miller claimed. In other words, they want the same open borders for America that they clearly seem to recognize would destroy Poland.

“If they wanted to tomorrow, they could reinstate ‘Remain in Mexico,’ they could reinstate our Safe Thirds with the northern triangle countries which allow us to send people back there right away, no delay,” he said.

“They could reinstate our asylum blocks so that people can’t commit asylum fraud. They could do everything that we did … but they don’t want that because open borders, maximum migration, is the objective,” he continued.

Meanwhile back in the present, another giant, 3000-person caravan of criminal aliens is reportedly headed toward the southern U.S. border.

And the reason they’re coming now, according to the New York Post, is because they’re afraid former President Donald Trump will win the 2024 presidential election. If he does, they know he’ll quickly shut down the border.

“We are running the risk that permits [to cross the border] might be blocked,” Miguel Salazar, a criminal alien from El Salvador, told the Post.

He added that he’s afraid a Trump administration would prevent criminal aliens from booking appointments through a Biden administration-created app to enter the U.S. at a designated crossing point and apply for asylum.
