President Joe Biden has been accused of some “Deep South Racism” after he not only mangled LL Cool J’s name during a Saturday night speech before the Congressional Black Caucus, he referred to the 55-year-old rapper and actor as “boy.”
“Two of the great artists of our time representing the ground-breaking legacy of hip hop in America, LL J Cool J… uhhh…” Biden said as the audience erupted in laughter.
“By the way,” the president continued, leaning into the podium, “that boy’s got– that man’s got biceps bigger than my thighs.”
“That’s Deep South Racism right there,” stated one user on X. “Boy????”

The shocking gaffe comes just 48 hours after Biden praised the “Congressional Black Caucus” while addressing the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and one day after he falsely claimed he’s “been to every mass shooting” in America.

Both LL Cool J and MC Lyte were presented on Saturday with Phoenix Awards for their musical contributions at the annual Black Caucus ceremony in Washington DC, the Daily Mail reports.
“LL Cool J is a 55 year old black man with an iconic music and acting career, and Biden referred to him as ‘that boy,'” stated the popular Oilfield Rando account on X. “AT A CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS EVENT.”
“I’m sorry,” Rando stated. “I can’t get over it. It’s too good.”
“The funniest part isn’t that it happened, which is so funny it hurts,” Rando continued. “No. The funniest part is that they’re all gonna let it slide, while we’re smack dab in middle of the ‘racial justice’ culture.”
“I honestly just can’t wait for Charlamagne and the Breakfast Club to completely let that one slide lol,” Rando added. “It’s so beautiful. Magnificent. Resplendent, even.”

“They all just let it go because they know what the average black voter does not…” replied one user. “It’s not about racial equality or social justice. It’s about money.”
“He’s been in politics for 89 years and has said more racist things than Trump ever has every single one of those years,” noted another user. “So yeah it’s hilarious but there are different rulesets.”

To be fair, Biden has only been in politics for 51 years, but the user’s point is well-taken.
In fact, as BizPac Review has reported, this isn’t the first time the president has referred to a black man as a “boy.”
While addressing the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Lanham, Maryland, in February, Biden referred to the state’s then newly-elected first black governor, 44-year-old Democrat Wes Moore, the same way.
“You got a hell of a new governor in Wes Moore, I tell ya,” Biden told the union workers. “He’s the real deal, and the boy looked like he could still play. He’s got some guns on him.”
