Brian Kilmeade blasts Trump for ‘insane’ decision to honor J6 political prisoners at Waco rally

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade unloaded on Donald Trump for the way he chose to open his rally over the weekend in Waco, Texas, calling the decision “insane.”

The former president began with a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” sung by some of the Jan. 6 protesters incarcerated for their role that fateful day. The song, titled “Justice For All,” topped the iTunes chart and featured a group of inmates who call themselves the “J6 Choir.” The video includes Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance over the track, as well as Jan. 6 footage, including the scene where a Capitol police officer shoots and kills unarmed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.

“I think for President Trump to spend 80% of his time complaining about court cases instead of just looking at his own record and what he would have done,” Kilmeade said.

“And let me tell you what I would have done to SBG. Let me tell you what I would have done over into Syria if they, if we, our guys got hit for the 74th time and twice in two days,” he continued — this being a suggestion of policy issues Trump should be talking about. “He does that, or other candidates do that, they’re going to be unbelievably successful because that’s going to be the conversation at the kitchen table. ”

Kilmeade was adamant that Trump was only harming himself.

“Instead, the president of the United States, the former president of the United States, opened up with Jan. 6 video, which is insane,” he said. “He should be running from that period. I don’t care his point of view — that is not a good thing for him.”

“I thought that was absolutely awful. Even though he is winning in the polls, that will not help,” Kilmeade added.

On Saturday, as the  “Justice For All” video played, Trump stood at attention with his hand over his heart… both videos can be seen below:
