Super Bowl happenings in Vegas hardly stayed in Vegas as a star quarterback’s wife was spotted giving the cold shoulder to her brother-in-law.
Bringing “high school never ends” energy to Sin City, the interpersonal relationships of WAGS (wives and girlfriends) and family members of the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs caused quite a stir.
As a season with new fans enthralled by pop star Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce neared its conclusion, fellow Chief Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany was seen snubbing her brother-in-law Jackson Mahomes.
Footage of the exchange was shared on social media as the younger Mahomes looked to his sister-in-law and tried to sell a security guard on who he was as he tried to enter the VIP area of a concert where rapper Future performed. Instead, all he got was a shrug as he was denied entry and Brittany proceeded to dance.

While it was unclear if Brittany had an actual gripe with her brother or was merely disinterested in his plight, the Daily Mail had made note of her friendship with Swift and a potential conflict of interest after Jackson had been spotted chatting it up with Kelce’s ex-girlfriend.
As reported by TMZ, the younger Mahomes had been seen at the Aria’s High Limit Lounge Thursday night for about an hour alongside influencer Kayla Nicole with whom he had become friends during her relationship with Kelce.
Meanwhile, the next day Nicole was once again spotted with Claire Kittle, the wife of 49ers tight end George Kittle, after they had previously been seen sharing a luxury box when San Francisco took on the Philadelphia Eagles.
The ladies had also joined other WAGs for a trip to Aspen in January.
As to her own relationship with the Mahomes’, Nicole had suggested to People that what is seen on social media doesn’t necessarily reflect what happens in private as she specifically referenced unfollowing the couple online.
“I do think it’s important to publicly address this because I did publicly unfollow people. The reality is I know these people in real life,” she explained. “And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made.”
“To everyone it’s like, ‘Oh, you broke up a year ago,’ and that meant it’s like a light switch, you turn it off and everything goes dead and black and you don’t ever speak to anyone ever again. That’s not reality. I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved,” detailed Nicole who said of Brittany, “She knows that I love her.”
Kelce’s ex-girlfriend wasn’t alone in making a splash with other WAGs as Brittany’s debut in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition featured her alongside Olivia Culpo, fiancé to Niners running back Christian McCaffrey, and Christen Harper, the betrothed of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff.

As for Patrick, who was later spotted on stage at the concert, his aggravated sexual battery charges related to a February 2023 incident were dropped in January after a reported lack of cooperation from the alleged victim according to the Johnson County Assistant District Attorney Megan Ahsens.
