Calling BS: Biden White House reportedly ‘blindsided’ by raid on Mar-a-Lago, learned from Twitter

It’s inconceivable that the unprecedented act of state-sponsored lawlessness on display Monday at Mar-A-Lago when around 30 FBI agents raided the home of not only a former president but the likely 2024 Republican presidential nominee took place without the Biden White House being aware, yet that’s the yarn the administration appears to be selling to the American people.

As was reported on Biden-friendly CNN, the White House was “blindsided” by the news that the FBI had executed a search warrant Monday on Trump’s Florida home, a historic development that has never happened in U.S. history.

CNN Chief White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins laid the back story to the unprecedented political weaponization of the Justice Department.

“We should note we have now learned that this search warrant had to do with that investigation into how the former president handled potentially classified information, certainly sensitive information, when he left the White House,” Collins said.

Republican strategist Scott Jennings appeared on the network and suggested that the DOJ will have “martyred” Trump if they don’t justify their outrageous actions with a conviction, adding that they have “basically guaranteed” that he gets the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

“I mean, they’ve raided the guy’s house,” Jennings said. “There’s no reconciliation here when you raid somebody’s house. And so because of the political implications of that, I’m curious to know about what did the White House know?”

Jennings noted that The New York Times reported that “senior political figures in the Biden White House didn’t know, they were blindsided by the news on Twitter,” before saying he wanted to know if President Biden knew.

CNN cohost Dana Bash chimed in to say “our understanding is that, no, the White House didn’t know.”

“They were blindsided. They found out when we all did, when the former president put out that press release,” said Bash, who would then run interference for Team Biden.

“Given how buttoned up and cautious Merrick Garland is, especially with something as sticky as this, it’s hard to imagine that they gave the White House a heads-up,” she said.

So there you have it, the administration found out about the raid on Twitter. Allegedly.

Trump said in the aforementioned statement: “These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”

“It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections,” he continued. “Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe!”

Given 79-year-old President Biden’s confused mental state, it’s understandable that he may have been kept in the dark — after all, he had his hands full Monday, as seen below — but the progressive regime running the White House is a whole other matter.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade seemed to be of the same mindset.

“JUST spoke to @erictrump, nothing in the safe, FBI agents 30 approx raided on behalf of nation archives …This is outrageous- has to have come from @POTUS and/or someone in White House.

If you find the claim that the administration learned of the Mar-A-Lago raid on Twitter hard to believe, take comfort in the reality that you are far from alone.
