A bit over a year ago, conservative superstar Candace Owens gave birth to her first child, a boy, on Jan. 13th, 2021. And now, exactly 391 days later, she’s prepping to give birth once again.

On Tuesday the conservative commentator and podcaster announced on both Instagram and Twitter that she’s pregnant once more and expecting to give birth to her second child in July.

She kept the announcement simple: “Family of 4. #July2022,” she wrote on Twitter.

The announcement triggered an outpouring of love, most of it from the right, but plenty from the left as well.

Notice what left-wing entertainment blogger Perez Hilton tweeted. He politely acknowledged his political disagreements with Owens but praised her anyway and, more importantly, chastised her haters, of which there were many.

Some haters sarcastically mocked Owens over her refusal to take the coronavirus vaccine. This, according to them, makes her anti-science.

Others kept their hate racial by mocking her for not meeting their standards of so-called “blackness” and making an issue out of her marrying a white man.

Those who hate former President Donald Trump yet are obsessed with him like he’s a crush chose to make her pregnancy about him, of course:

The rest of the haters just spewed hate:

Owens for her part didn’t appear to care. As a positive-minded person, it seems she’s only concerned with the love:

In an interview with The Daily Wire, her employer, conducted after her first pregnancy last year, she said that giving birth helped focus her political priorities.

“In a way, pregnancy has better focused me … many of these debates are no longer just political for me—they’re personal. The stakes seem much higher when you are starting a family,” she said.

“You realize that whatever decisions we land upon as a society will have real implications for your child’s future. Will my child grow up in the same America that I grew up in, with the same opportunities? I have a lot of anxiety about the answer to that question, which is being determined now.”

The good news is that whereas Democrats were just voted into full power at the time, they are now on a trajectory toward losing all power.

“In a profound moment like that, all of the political rhetoric and debate just fades away. I can only describe it as a moment of inexorable truth. It’s powerful and transformative,” she added in her interview last year.
