Longtime Democrat Party strategist James Carville has accused President Donald Trump of having “shot our wad” in the war in Iran.
Speaking from a bed or couch, strangely enough, Carville ranted and raved this Wednesday about the Iran War that he believes America is losing.
“We have, by all accounts, bus counts, inventories, everything else, our munition supply — that’s ammo, okay — ordinance is dangerously, dangerously low,” he began. “All right, he shot our wad. Yeah, we shot our wad.”
Recent media reports have suggested that America’s munitions supply is running precariously low because of the now-seemingly forever war in Iran. However, President Donald Trump has vociferously denied these reports.
“The U.S. has massive amounts of ‘munitions,’ especially of certain types,” the president alleged on Truth Social early Thursday morning. “Additionally, large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed.”
Obviously, Carville doesn’t believe the president.
“We [have] come to the point where we’re over deployed, parents of sailors on the Abraham Lincoln are begging their Congressmen to look at what’s going on,” he continued in his bedside rant. “Basically, conditions aboard our aircraft carriers come almost in half. This is the United States of America, the most powerful person, we have 11 aircraft carriers. I don’t think China has one.”
“We can’t get them deployed in where they’re totally combat ready as they should be. That the parents are calling in. Now we have a story and true story, is the brass is asking the troops for any idea how to beat Iran. Yeah, you heard that right. The senior military people are going to sergeants and saying, ‘You got any idea how we can do this battle? Because the sh*t ain’t working right now’. We are in the middle of losing a war,” he added.
In case you missed it because of his absurd, grammatically incorrect, and hillbilly style of speaking, he alleged that the war is going so badly that superior officers in the military have been asking their underlings for tips on how to end the war once and for all.
Carville wasn’t done.
“The only way to deal with that is to acknowledge it,” he said, continuing his rant. “That’s what this guy has done to us. We’ve shot our wad. Our munition supply is down to dangerously, hyper-dangerously low levels. Our carriers and sailors are horrifically over-deployed, and the brass, we’ve gone from General [Chris] Donahue, maybe the best soldier of the 21st century, to they appointed some guy to be Chief of Staff for the Army, and the Republicans are going, ‘Wait, this guy is not even competent enough to do this.'”
“This is how — we don’t realize that we are in the middle of losing a war with a depleted military, with a increasingly incompetent command structure; then we’re missing the whole point, and we got to be honest with ourselves. We really do. We’re not honest with ourselves. We shot our wad,” he concluded.
During the same deranged bedside rant, Carville also predicted President Trump will resign in disgrace after losing the upcoming midterm elections and then have current Vice President J.D. Vance pardon him:
🚨NOW: James Carville predicts Donald Trump will RESIGN after losing the midterms to avoid facing criminal prosecution.
“He’s too old. He’s too fat. He’s too stupid… he’ll call in JD Vance and say ‘you’re going to be president…you’re going to pardon me…” SOUNDS GOOD TO ME! pic.twitter.com/OgxT4I5zpr

“I think he’s gonna get up and walk out of it,” Carville said. “He’s going to lose so decisively in November. His power is going to just seep right out. No one’s going to even care. People really don’t care what he says anymore.”
“It’s easy. He calls in JD Vance, and he says, ‘JD, I’ve decided I’m going to resign, I’m going to go back. You’re going to be the president, but your first act, that I have right here, as soon as you’re sworn in, you’re going to sign a pardon—pardon me for everything imaginable,'” crazy Carville continued.
“Because he can’t take the risk,” he added, concluding his strange rant. “There is some doubt as to the legality of a self-pardon. There’s some doubt. He has to eradicate that doubt.”
