Senate Republicans have obtained a copy of Dr. Anthony S. Fauci’s government cellphone that he used during the COVID era, a potential treasure trove of incriminating information on the retired bureaucrat.
The Fauci phone could be even more damning than the diaries of the longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), who received a sweeping retroactive and preventive pardon from former President Joe Biden on his last day in office.
“A Senate panel investigating Dr. Anthony Fauci has obtained a copy of the doctor’s iPhone, potentially securing even more records related to the doctor’s actions during the Covid-19 pandemic,” according to The Wall Street Journal, reporting that was confirmed by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.), who has spent years in pursuit of accountability for one of the darkest periods in the nation’s history.

“The Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations has obtained a copy of Dr. Fauci’s phone from HHS. Hopefully, this device will address many of the questions he refused to answer at last week’s hearing,” the Wisconsin Republican said in a Wednesday evening post to X.
Fauci’s iPhone was turned over to the committee by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Last week, Fauci refused to answer questions from Republican lawmakers about his role during the pandemic when he milked his celebrity status while dictating government policy that led to unconstitutional vaccine mandates, forced masking and lockdowns that crushed small businesses and deprived America’s children of essential classroom learning, potentially inflicting long-term psychological damage on the young and vulnerable.
The elfin 85-year-old malefactor invoked his Fifth Amendment rights more than 100 times during the Senate hearing, infuriating Republicans on the panel who aren’t going to give up their pursuit of justice.
“Although it pains me to do so because of the respect I have for the legislative branch of government and my decades-long record of cooperating with Congress under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions,” Fauci said at the beginning of the hearing.
The news that Fauci’s phone has been acquired came the day before the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations was to convene for a vote to hold the number one COVID villain in contempt for his refusal to testify.

“Accountability is coming,” pledged the panel’s chairman Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) in a Wednesday X post featuring an image of Fauci with his hands folded, sitting at the witness table.

In his opening statement before the panel, Fauci accused Paul of having an “unhinged obsession” with him.
“The closest thing to fascism the United States has seen was the COVID-19 pandemic response, instituted and vigorously mobilized by Left-wing groupthink,” Paul wrote in another Wednesday X post.
It is now going to be tested as to whether Fauci’s pardon will shield him from his flagrant defiance as well as his potential crimes.
“We don’t do charging, the Department of Justice does. If we win the vote on Thursday my plan is to send it to the Department of Justice,” Paul said, according to CNN.
