Casey Anthony uses new spotlight to accuse father of repeated rape and death of her 2-yr-old

Casey Anthony is accusing her 71-year-old father, George Anthony, in her new three-part docuseries “Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies” of sexual abuse and is blaming him for the death of her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee, in 2008.

George Anthony would not comment when asked about the accusations by his daughter, according to Fox News. But he has always denied having any involvement in Caylee’s death or the disposal of her remains.

Now, Casey Anthony is making the allegations once again after 14 years in a deal that appears to be a money-maker for her on Peacock. According to Fox News Digital, the docuseries includes interviews with Casey Anthony, members of her legal team, law enforcement investigators, and current and former friends of hers.

Casey Anthony’s accusations against her father echo those of her defense attorneys during her 2011 trial. She also admitted that she had an extensive history of lying, including to the police, which later got her convicted.

She claims she has changed but many out there believe she had more than ample time to concoct the story about her dad to throw off suspicion that she had killed her daughter.

She said she “still [doesn’t] know what happened to Caylee,” but added “it all comes back to my dad,” according to the New York Post.

Anthony claims that her father repeatedly raped her after smothering her with a pillow when she was a child and feared that he may have done the same thing to Caylee.

“I know what he did to me — and that was my fear. I had one job — to keep her safe,” she wept. “I failed her again and again and again because I still protected the person who hurt me.”

She recounted that she had been resting with Caylee on her bed on June 16, 2008, because she didn’t feel well. At the time, she believed she had locked the door to her room.

“I was awoken by him (her father) shaking me and asking me where Caylee was,” she asserted. “She would never even leave my room without telling me. I immediately started looking around the house. … I go outside, and I’m looking to see where she could be. She’s not in her playhouse. Where is she?”

She then claims to have seen her father by the pool “standing there with her.”

“She’s soaking wet,” she recounted. “He handed her to me and telling me that it was my fault. That I did that. That I caused it. But he didn’t rush to call 911, or he wasn’t trying to resuscitate her. I just collapsed with her in my arms.”

Casey claimed her daughter was “heavy” and “cold.”

She then says that he changed his attitude toward her, taking the child from her arms.

“He immediately softens his tone and tells me, ‘It’s going to be OK,’” she stated. “That’s what he said to me. I wanted to believe him. … He took her from me, and he walked away.”

Casey Anthony, now 36, says she didn’t believe her daughter had drowned because it was an above-ground pool that did not have a ladder and there was “no way for her to shimmy up.”

She then left without knowing what happened to her child to spend the next 31 days with her boyfriend partying. She didn’t say a word about what happened and insists that she “genuinely believed that Caylee was still alive.”

“My father kept telling me she was OK,” she remarked in the docuseries. “I was in contact with my father daily. … I just wanted answers. ‘When am I going to see her? How much longer are we going to keep doing this? Is she OK?’”

George’s wife Cindy, reported Caylee missing on July 15, 2008. That was weeks after she was last seen on June 16. At the time, Anthony claimed her daughter was with a babysitter when she went missing.

The child’s remains were found on Dec. 11, 2008.

Casey Anthony would eventually be found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse. She was found guilty of lying to law enforcement.

Prosecutors did not believe that Caylee accidentally drowned either. They believed that the mother suffocated the girl using chloroform and then covered the child’s mouth with duct tape.

Casey Anthony’s dad was spotted outside his Florida home Tuesday for the first time since she renewed accusations that he sexually abused her. He is not talking to reporters as the drama is once again dragged into the spotlight.
