An interview between President Joe Biden’s crack-smoking son and a crypto-based podcast host went off the rails Tuesday after Hunter Biden was disconnected from the show.
The interview started out OK enough, with Biden pontificating about his love of art as it relates to NFTs, which are digital tokens that are being used by “artists to create financial value from the digital artwork they produce,” according to TheArtist.
“I’ve always been an artist from the time I’ve been a child, and I think it’s always been the center of my life. Not until recently have I been able to devote the entirety of my day to art. Art was always a part of me and something that I’ve always practiced but never been able to devote eight hours a day to it like I have for the past three years,” he said.
He added that although he has a therapist, the creation of art functions as a form of therapy for him.
“When I make my art, and I make art every day — at least as many hours as I can possibly fit in with the day — when I make art, I become fully immersed in it. It’s something that takes up the entirety of my attention or focus,” he said.
“I’m in a better place than I’ve, I think, ever been in my life. Probably the most profound lesson that I’ve learned is one day at a time,” he added.

Hunter Biden’s love of art has been a frequent topic of discussion because of concerns that he’s using his art to sell influence.
The interview began to fall apart when he was asked whether he’s sold any of his NFTs. Instead of replying, he suddenly dropped off the call, as did Donald Kushner, the creator of the NFT Cryptosaurs.
In response, host Mario Nawfal stunningly breathed a sigh of relief as he told the audience that the interview had been exceedingly tough because he’d been prohibited from asking certain questions.
“It was a bit difficult for us because we had questions we could ask him [and] couldn’t ask. Behind the scenes that was tough… There was a lot of requirements we had to meet. F–k that was so stressful. That was so f–king stressful, man,” he said.
“Usually, I’m very open, I ask questions. It’s like a free mic, anyone could ask questions. We always let debates happen. But this is the first time where we, like, kind of f****** hands tied,” he added.
Nawfal was then reportedly asked why he’d allowed Hunter Biden onto the show if he couldn’t ask him the questions he’d wanted to ask.
“My fault was to accept any guests, I don’t care if it’s a president next time, any guests that comes on, that’s my rule moving forward as of today,’ he said. ‘Any guests that comes on from now on has to be ready to be able to answer my f–king questions we want to ask. No pre-packed questions,” he replied.
He then received a notice that Biden hadn’t purposefully disconnected — that a simple glitch had occurred.

Something extraordinary then occurred. Kushner’s business partner, Mike Bonhoeffer, unmuted his microphone and ranted and raved at Nawfal for what he’d just said about not being allowed to ask certain questions.
“I have not heard anybody thrown under the bus that way because of a glitch on your system that knocked Donald and Hunter off the network go so quickly dark and put the blame on somebody that had no control over what happened and quickly construct a narrative. This is part of the bulls–t that goes on. You build a narrative that had no basis in truth,” he said.
“Hunter is somebody who does not want to talk about politics because he’s not a politician, he’s an artist. And we took a look at the stream of vitriol that came when you put the promo up on your Twitter feed, and it was thousands of people sh-t-talking Hunter Biden. So, we had to put constraints on this,” he added.
Nawfal responded by admitting he’d jumped to conclusions after the call dropped.
“It’s very unusual for two people to get kicked off at the same time — it happens though — so I assumed that based on that and that’s my mistake,” he said.
But before he could continue speaking any further, another glitch caused the show’s producers to have to reset the show entirely.
After the reset, the host remarked about the “unusual” number of glitches plaguing the show and reiterated that going forward, he’ll no longer accept guests who can’t be asked certain questions.
