True crime buffs on X are losing their minds after George Anthony, father of the notorious Casey Anthony, sat down for a lie detector test.
In 2011, Casey was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, in 2008. Caylee had been “missing” for six months. Her body was ultimately discovered in a wooded area not far from the family’s Orlando, Fla., home.
Though acquitted of murder, Casey was convicted of four counts of providing false information to the police.
Last year, she appeared in a three-part Peacock documentary, “Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies,” and blamed her dad for Caylee’s death. Casey accused George of sexually assaulting her and claimed he killed the little girl to cover up the fact that he was sexually assaulting her.

Now Casey’s parents have a docuseries of their own, in which both George and Casey’s mother, Cindy, subject themselves to lie detector tests in response to their daughter’s damning allegations.
The first episode of A&E’s “Casey Anthony’s Parents: The Lie Detector Test” debuted on Thursday, and users on X were tuning in as George was hooked up to a polygraph machine.
During the debut episode, George was asked if he if he knowingly concealed Caylee’s whereabouts and appeared to hesitate before answering “I did not know where she was at.”
“Okay,” replied retired FBI special agent George Olivo, who administered the test. “So, why are you struggling with that?”
“Maybe it’s because … it was so close to our house, that she was found,” the father responded.
“I think some people like to overthink things a bit, and they get in their own way sometimes,” Olivo told Inside Edition.

“I was just visualizing the woods where she was found,” George says at one point. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
In a press release hyping the “explosive” series, A&E said, “Casey Anthony’s explosive accusations that her father molested Casey and Caylee and that he is responsible for Caylee’s death, prompted George and Cindy’s decision to undergo lie detector tests,” according to People. “Their real-time responses to the polygraph questions are laid bare in the documentary along with each spouse’s reaction to the other’s answers and the lie detector results.”
In the premiere episode, George again denies sexually assaulting both Casey and Caylee, sparking an explosion on X.
“Always have known Casey Anthony was a lying piece of s**t!!!” exclaimed one user. “Buckle up Buttercup, it’s about to go down!!!!”

At least one X user, however, is hoping that this is the last the world will hear of Casey Anthony.
Are we all collectively ready, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, to let the sewer trash that is Casey Anthony rot in obscurity and only be remembered for the hollow, self-absorbed shitgibbon that she is?
