CBS publishes full transcript and raw video of ’60 Minutes’ Kamala train wreck and it fires up the Internet

It’s been confirmed that CBS News lied when it claimed to not have deceptively edited its “60 Minutes” interview last year with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

As previously reported, after the interview CBS News published a selectively edited clip in which Harris’ original mindless word salad answer was replaced with a more appealing answer.

The publication of the clip prompted massive anger, leading to a lawsuit from current President Donald Trump and an investigation by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

CBS News responded to the lawsuit this week by publishing a full transcript and raw video of the interview and claiming that all this proves that the network never lied.

“We are posting the same transcripts and videos of our interview with Vice President Kamala Harris that we provided to the FCC,” the network said in a statement. “They show – consistent with 60 Minutes’ repeated assurances to the public – that the 60 Minutes broadcast was not doctored or deceitful.”

“In reporting the news, journalists regularly edit interviews – for time, space, or clarity. In making these edits, 60 Minutes is always guided by the truth and what we believe will be most informative to the viewing public – all while working within the constraints of broadcast television,” their statement continued.

But according to an investigation by NewsBusters, a right-wing media watchdog group, CBS is once again lying.

“NewsBusters can confirm that what appeared on 60 Minutes was highly edited,” the watchdog group has discovered. “Not only did they edit what appeared on 60 Minutes, they also edited what appeared on Face the Nation, including cutting out a hard-hitting question that called out the Biden-Harris administration for looking weak on the world stage.”

“[W]hat CBS did was pluck out a fragment of a sentence that was in the middle of a word salad being spoken by candidate a with a problem connecting with voters. Again, they also edited out their reporter asking a question with critical analysis against said candidate. They later followed up with a different 60 Minutes episode smearing said candidate’s opponent,” the reporting continues.

But it’s not just CBS lying anymore — it’s the entire corrupt corporate press. Take for instance what CNN reported: “The transcript confirms what CBS said: That it engaged in normal editing, not any nefarious activity like Trump alleged.” That’s a lie.

President Trump for his part responded to the latest news by calling for CBS News to lose its license.

“CBS and 60 Minutes defrauded the public by doing something which has never, to this extent, been seen before,” he wrote in a lengthy Truth Social post. “They 100% removed Kamala’s horrible election changing answers to questions, and replaced them with completely different, and far better, answers, taken from another part of the interview. This was Election changing ‘stuff,’ Election Interference and, quite simply, Election Fraud at a level never seen before.”

“CBS should lose its license, and the cheaters at 60 Minutes should all be thrown out, and this disreputable ‘NEWS’ show should be immediately terminated. With the new Democrat scandal that just arose with respect to USAID illegally paying large sums of money to Politico and other media outlets, the question must me asked, was CBS paid for committing this FRAUD??? Many other questions to come! This will go down as the biggest Broadcasting SCANDAL in History!!!” he added.

Responding on Twitter/X to the president’s post, conservatives en masse agreed that CBS needs to face a reckoning.
