Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie continues to receive constant coverage from the mainstream media which just can’t get enough of him and his one-issue White House campaign of trash-talking 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump.
The former New Jersey governor made another appearance on Fox News where he put on his federal prosecutor’s cap to weigh in on the latest bombshell about the former president and the Mar-a-Lago “boxes,” alleging that a former assistant claimed that Trump would use the back of documents marked as classified to write “to-do” lists for her.
Anchor Neil Cavuto was discussing the potential of a government shutdown with the candidate on Tuesday’s edition of “Your World” when he changed the subject to the ABC News report that broke on Monday about aide Molly Michael’s testimony to investigators, another of the leaks that have been a fixture of underhanded special counsel Jack Smith’s cases against Trump.

“Governor, we’re just getting reports. This is one from ABC News, I’m sure you’ve heard concerning the classified documents that Donald Trump had in his possession and an assistant who told ABC News that Donald Trump would write to-do lists on some of these classified documents. Your thoughts?” Cavuto asked, referring to the scoop from the outlet where Christie has long drawn a paycheck as a political pundit but is on hiatus during his White House run.
“Look, this just shows the level of disrespect he was shown for the documents that were created with American men and women in both the military and in our intelligence community, putting their lives on the line to get that information. So the president can be fully briefed,” Christie replied, laying it on thick.
“But to me Neil, I’ve read that report, and the worst part of the report is not, believe it or not in my mind the ‘to-do’ lists on the back of classified documents. The worst is when he called that assistant when she was going to go before the grand jury and said, ‘You don’t know anything about my boxes, my boxes of documents,'” Christie said, referring to an alleged statement by Trump in the ABC News report.
“I mean, that is active witness tampering. That’s an act of obstruction of justice. I mean, so if she’s telling the truth,” he continued. “Then we have more evidence that will be presented at the time of trial and this case will be tried. And this is the guy that we want to make our nominee.
“This is the person we think can beat Joe Biden?” Christie added. “He’s going to be spending most of March, all of March, and most of April in a federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., defending himself rather than being out on the trail, taking it to Joe Biden.”
“And this is just another example of the drip, drip, drip of information that’s going to come out about irresponsible conduct by Donald Trump that’s going to be used by Democrats and others to take him on if he were the nominee,” he stated. “We need to stop that now. Thank him for his service. Send him back to Mar-a-Lago, in Bedminster, and get a nominee who can win this race and beat Joe Biden.”
Christie also snarked about what Trump may have written on the alleged “to-do” lists in a Tuesday post to X, previously known as Twitter, writing “stop paying off porn stars” in a reference to adult film “actress” Stormy Daniels, the central figure in the “hush money” case ginned up by Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg that’s set for trial next year.
Trump’s to-do list written on top of top-secret documents:
1. Steal more top-secret documents (they make great notepads)
2. Schedule tee time (can’t forget to cheat)
3. Pay my lawyers (use donor money)
4. Stop accidentally admitting I lost the election
5. Stop paying off porn…

According to an ABC News report, “A Trump spokesperson said that what ABC News was told — through what the spokesperson called ‘illegal leaks’ — lacks ‘proper context and relevant information,’ and that “‘President Trump did nothing wrong, has always insisted on truth and transparency, and acted in a proper manner, according to the law.'”
