President Joe Biden drew near to a slogan slip-up while suggesting an unusual locale for Americans to “resolve our differences” and had many believing, “That phone call with Trump really got to him huh.”

Since Saturday’s tragedy in Butler, Pennsylvania, another wave of damage control was rolled out by those on the left as they sought to cover for their extreme rhetoric and counter the unity coalescing behind former President Donald Trump.
This included three separate statements from the incumbent within 24 hours in a series that concluded with him slurring his way through little more than six minutes from the Oval Office that sought to bring Americans to “the battle box.”
More than halfway through his Sunday night address that attempted to equate the assassination attempt on Trump to Jan. 6, 2021, along with the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi, Biden’s pitch “to call for action at the ballot box,” with, “no violence on our streets,” took a tongue-tied turn.
“That’s how democracy should work. We debate and disagree. We compare and contrast the character of the candidates, the records, the issues, the agenda, the vision for America,” said the president. “But in America, we resolve our differences at the battle box. That’s how we do it. At the battle box.”
The twofold gaffe proved ample fodder for social media ribbing as some even argued whether he’d said “battle box” or “battle bots.”

As Biden continued behaving as though he himself hadn’t referred to the GOP leader as a “threat” to the nation and reportedly said, “We’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” the incumbent went on, “You know, the path forward through competing visions of the campaign should always be resolved peacefully, not through acts of violence.”
It was then that viewers were given the impression that the Democrat had also been caught up in the wave of support for his rival as he stated, “You know, we’re blessed to live in the greatest country on Earth. And I believe that with every soul — every power of my being. So, tonight, I’m asking every American to recommit to make America — make America what it i- — think about it. What’s made America so special?”
After the incumbent came “dangerously close to saying Make America Great Again,” users couldn’t help but contend that his previously stated check-in to see how Trump was doing had “got to him.”

I would have laughed myself to tears if Joe Biden had said, Make America Great Again.

Make America….well, anyway.

Almost, that would have been the icing on the cake.

Of course, those weren’t the only points that the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue took heat over as the teleprompter setup for his Oval Office address had Biden staring off to the side throughout his remarks. It came hours after decrying the attempted assassination of his rival, which he’d initially refused to describe it as and continued to act baffled as it being a possible motive, claiming it was “not appropriate.”
Tip for Biden’s team: place the prompter with the remarks he didn’t write underneath the camera lens, not to the side.

That is the weakest most pathetic way to describe an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. Biden is a weak old man

He can’t even condemn it appropriately. Dark Brandon strikes again
