CNN data analyst declares US ‘firmly a pro-choice nation’ following SCOTUS ruling

Leftists heaped praise upon the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday night after it granted a request by the Biden administration to preserve access to a popular abortion pill, a development that was a major win for the culture warriors to whom there is no greater right than of an expectant mother who doesn’t want to be saddled with the burden of having a child to terminate her pregnancy, snuffing out the life of the unborn.

Among those celebrating the victory for the baby killers were CNN’s Anderson Cooper and data analyst Harry Enten who declared that the U.S. is “firmly a pro-choice nation” where, despite the nation’s highest court overturning of Roe v. Wade last year, abortion reigns supreme as the ultimate virtue of the modern American left.

In its brief unsigned order, the SCOTUS temporarily paused a Texas federal judge’s ruling that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) made a series of errors when it approved the drug mifepristone, potentially cutting off the availability of the pill which has been used for decades, staying the ruling while the Biden regime’s appeal plays out.

Shortly after the ruling came down, Enten joined the anchor on Friday night’s edition of “Anderson Cooper 360” where the two rejoiced, with the analyst crowing that the American public is now more pro-abortion than it has been since the 20th Century.

“So, what does the data show about where Americans are on abortion?” Cooper asked.

“They are more pro-choice than they have been in over 25 years,” Enten answered. “One of the interesting ramifications of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade was that, on the question of whether you’re pro-choice or pro-life. Before 2022, it was a fairly hard-fought question, right? Pro-choice was slightly ahead of pro-life.”

“But look what happened in 2022,” he continued, as a graphic was shown that said 58% of Americans are pro-abortion with  39% being pro-life, according to polling averages. “Pro-choice is now up 20 points on the pro-life question. And this to me is important because this was one of the anti-abortion activists’ best questions, right? It was one of the questions that tended to suggest we were a 50-50 nation. But on this question now, we are no longer a 50-50 nation. We are firmly a pro-choice nation, a pro-abortion rights nation.”

The analyst then referenced another poll suggesting that Americans are losing confidence in the Supreme Court, a testament to the effectiveness of the left-wing propaganda spewed 24/7 by CNN and the rest of the corrupt media.

“What we saw was that following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, we saw that this confidence in the Supreme Court had dropped to its lowest level ever – over 50 years [of data],” Enten said. “Gallup’s measuring, you know, it used to be in the sixties, the seventies, in 1972. And then we’ve seen this sort of steady decline over the last decade, especially over the last few years and now less than 50% of Americans have a great deal or fair amount of confidence in the Supreme Court.”

President Joe Biden, supposedly a devout Catholic, joined the CNN duo in spiking the ball over the Supreme Court’s decision.

“Today, the Supreme Court stayed a decision that would have undermined FDA’s medical judgment and put women’s health at risk,” the abortion activist-in-chief declared on Twitter. “As a result, mifepristone, an FDA-approved drug for medication abortion, remains available and approved.”

“Let me say this,” added Biden. “I’ll continue to fight attacks on women’s health. The American people must also continue to use their vote as their voice and elect a Congress that will restore the protections of Roe v Wade.”
