U.S. Senator Cory Booker doubled down in the ongoing fight by Democrats to make the case for illegal migrants to remain in the U.S.
Evidently, Americans need those who broke U.S. laws to cross the border not to be deported under President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown, but to remain and provide the cheap labor Democrats like Booker are convinced is needed.
The New Jersey Democrat was roasted after sharing a video and vowing to “fight to protect” – not Americans, but illegal migrants.
The hands that feed us.
We see you.
We will fight to protect you.

“The hands that feed us. We see you. We will fight to protect you,” Booker wrote in the caption of the video posted on X depicting crop pickers displaying their hands and the words, “Thanks to the invisible hands that feed us.”
The former mayor of Newark has been a vocal critic of Trump’s policies, despite the American people’s mandate on deporting criminal illegal immigrants and securing the border.
But his fawning over those in the country illegally, and the premise that Americans cannot survive without the cheap labor they provide, set off a wave of mockery and criticism on X for the senator known as Spartacus.
Are you protecting illegal slavery?

I’d rather starve than allow illegals to stay in our country.
Deport every illegal. No amnesty. No exceptions.

Weird way to say that you support slave labor.
This is the Democrat Party in 2025.
Shameful.

Why are you shamelessly promoting slave labor?
— Paul A. Szypula (@Bubblebathgirl) July 21, 2025
No one is above the law, Cory. Not even illegal immigrants that are illegally hired by large corporations and paid below market wages without paying taxes to pick crops.
Hope this helps!!

Many agree it’s the “gaslight of the century.”
They dumped the entire world into our country for 4 years and now we get this shit. It’s the gaslight of the century. https://t.co/fSiqwKxpDo
