UFC’s Dana White joined Tomi Lahren’s podcast, where the conversation eventually turned to the 2028 election.
Despite his distaste for politics, White has maintained a close relationship with President Donald Trump, even bringing a UFC fight to the White House lawn. Lahren wondered whether White would get involved in the next presidential election and who he might have his eye on.
Watch:
“Well, do you have anybody that you’re looking at for 2028? I know that you’re probably not going to be as vocal a supporter of somebody else because you have a unique relationship with President Trump. But if you look forward, is there anybody that you know, you’re around him a lot, are you thinking, ‘Hey, this is a [Vice President JD] Vance, this is a [Secretary of State Marco] Rubio?’ Somebody else, maybe?” the Tomi Lahren is Fearless host pressed.
“You know what’s funny is I was leading up to the White House fight and doing all this media, you know, a lot of the left media was saying to me, so you’re out of politics, right? You’re not gonna — and I can’t remember who I said it to, but, it might have been Time magazine, I said, I’ve become really close to Rubio. We’ve become really close. Rubio is a great guy. I like him. He’s smart. I like the way he handles himself and, you know, I’ve met his sons and I like his kids, so, you know, never say never,” he replied.
“So is that your pick?” Lahren wondered.
“I’m not saying I’m picking that. I’m just people are asking me if I’m going to get out of politics when the president leaves and I just said, I have become very close to Rubio. He and I have become friends,” White clarified, chuckling.
In the same episode, he weighed in on the viral “Michelle Obama is a man” comment by fighter Josh Hokit during the Freedom 250 fight on the White House lawn.
Dana White NOT happy with Josh Hokit’s comments regarding Michelle Obama but defends his right to free speech
“You think I’m happy about what Josh Hokit said, the night I’m trying to unify the country and he goes out and says something absolutely stupid”

“You think I’m happy about what Josh Hokit said, the night I’m trying to unify the country and he goes out and says something absolutely stupid,” White said. “But I’m a believer of free speech too, so, I don’t know. I let everybody be themselves, do their thing and you know. There’s a lot of things that some of my guys say that I don’t love.”
