Donald Trump’s attorney in his civil fraud trial in New York said over the weekend that Democrats can expect to be probed “deep and hard” if the former president ultimately prevails in November 2024.
Speaking at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference, Alina Habba demonstrated a flair for the flamboyant in both her attire and her message when she vowed to do her part to investigate Democrats — if she is part of a prospective Trump administration.
The attorney was commenting on the handling of classified documents suggesting that while Trump was covered by the Presidential Records Act, President Joe Biden is not.
“Because he wasn’t president when he took his boxes in six different locations,” she said of Biden. “In Chinatown. In his car next to his son, who’s doing God knows what with God knows who.”
“But that is what they do. They hide what they’ve done by going after Trump. Look at the shiny ball, everybody. Don’t look at us,” Habba continued. “Well, they’ve got one year and then we’re going to be looking at them.”

Her next line got the crowd stirred up.
“Deep and hard,” Habba said. “I’ll tell you right now, if I’m in Washington, I’ll be relentless too.”
