Symone Sanders snaps in WILD Biden impeachment inquiry interview

If MSNBC’s Symone Sanders is any indication, the Democrats’ narrative surrounding President Biden’s alleged influence peddling and accepting of bribes from America’s enemies is shifting.

Perhaps out of desperation, Sanders spun the oft-repeated claim that Republicans have “no evidence” against Biden in a new direction this weekend when she grilled Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) following the House’s vote to formally approve an impeachment inquiry into the president.

As Burchett rattled off the mountain of facts that have been uncovered about Biden’s shady finances — 22 bank accounts, 20 shell corporations, and tens of millions of dollars in payments through his family — Sanders interrupted him to throw Hunter Biden under a bus.

“I understand questions about Hunter Biden,” she said. “And Hunter Biden is currently, I mean literally, he is facing consequences for what he has done on his taxes, but I’m asking about President Biden.”

Noting that the president is just the “fifth president in our nation’s history to face an impeachment inquiry,” she stated, “There has been no evidence that has been produced that the president committed a high crime or misdemeanor while he was president.”

While he was president.

It’s a subtle distinction, but it suggests that the left is on the brink of having to admit that their party leader did in fact commit his share of crimes as Barack Obama’s Vice President.

“If you don’t find any evidence, at what point will the inquiry be considered concluded?” Sanders asked.

To which Burchett replied, “when we go through all the evidence.”

“As I was stating earlier,” he said, “there’s a $5 million investment with Hunter and a Chinese Communist member, and then Hunter, if you follow the money, he takes it, puts it in one of his 20 shell corporations. He in fact pays James Biden, the president’s brother, and then, at the end of it, you see $40,000 go out of this account, which was only created, apparently, for this influx of millions of dollars.”

He explained that the bank, in emails, said it saw no “business interest.”

At that point, Sanders cut the lawmaker off mid-sentence to remind the audience that NBC News reviewed documents showing “that the president made a $200,000 loan to his brother in 2018” and the $40,000 to which Burchett referred came in the form of a wire transfer Joe Biden made to James “when he was not the president” and payments were for a “Ford Raptor truck that Joe Biden purchased that Hunter Biden was using.”

“I don’t know, I haven’t heard a high crime or misdemeanor yet,” she stated.

And that’s when things really went off the rails. Burchett had heard enough.

“Are you going to let me answer the question?” he shot back. “I know you’re a Democrat operative and you’ve worked for a Democrat consulting firm–”

“All right, Congressman, let’s do it then,” Sanders snapped. “We’re out of time, but we’re going to do it.”

She agreed that she “used to” advise individuals and corporations, but insisted, “I’m just here to be an advocate for the viewer.”

“And I will ask you one last time, what is the evidence that the committee has that Joe Biden, while he was president, committed a high crime, misdemeanor, or treason because that is the bar for an impeachment inquiry,” she stated.

When Burchett again attempted to lay out the evidence, Sander accused him of lying.

“It’s always a pleasure,” she said, “but you just can’t come on here and lie.”
