A Democrat candidate for a local seat in Indiana reeled off a bonkers anti-MAGA rant that she capped off with an ominous veiled threat of violence.
Jaime West, who’s running for a seat on the Fayette County Council, bumbled her way through a recent local television interview, lashing out at President Donald J. Trump’s supporters, whom she claimed are “stealing people’s jobs” and ranted about immigration enforcement.
During the televised forum that was aired on LocalTV3 in Connersville, West showed up without a prepared opening statement, improvising on the fly and then appearing confused at several points before claiming that the sheriff’s nephew threatened to kill her; what came next has brought much attention to her campaign for all the wrong reasons.

This is Jaime West (Democratic Party) – she’s running for election for Fayette County Council, District 4 in Indiana.
I had to make sure she did not have a neurological disorder that could account for the slurred speech and insane rambling.
She doesn’t.
And even if she did have a diagnosed neurological disorder, “we have guns too!” after talking about firing all Republicans would ordinarily be disqualifying.

“I’ve been threatened so many times to my face by MAGA, we’ll call ’em. Because there’s Republicans who actually get it, you know,” she told Connersville News-Examiner managing editor Amy Graham-McCarty.
“There are good Republicans out there. But then there are these MAGAs, who are just racist and aren’t very intelligent at all. They call you names….you know, the sheriff’s nephew threatened to blow my head off. But, you know, what are you going to do?” West asked.
Appearing surprised by the candidate’s remarks, Graham-McCarty then asked West for her final message to voters.
“We have guns too,” she declared, a heck of an exclamation point on a dumpster fire of an interview.
Before her memorable closing remark, West was asked about one big decision that she would have to make that would be “unpopular” with voters.
“Firing all Republicans,” she said. “I mean, I don’t even talk to them. I don’t like them…what do you want me to say? I don’t like being around ’em.”
“I mean, y’all did this to us…,” she said. “You made this happen. This ICE coming into our communities, stealing people’s jobs, I mean…AAAHHHH.”

West does have her fans though, and the video so impressed MAGA-hating crank Keith Olbermann that he endorsed her to head up the Pentagon.
