Dem protesters descend on White House: ‘Hey, hey! Ho ho! Thank you Joe, it’s time to go!’

The internal Democrat coup against Joe Biden has reached the pressure stage with a mob of protesters descending on the White House with the message that it’s time for him to quit the race.

On Saturday, demonstrators descended on 1600 Pennsylvania NW where they waved signs and chanted “Hey, hey! Ho ho! Thank you Joe, it’s time to go,” as a part of the campaign to oust the deeply unpopular incumbent before he’s creamed by former President Donald J. Trump in November.

The protests were organized by Pass the Torch, a murky group that formed after the 81-year-old’s dumpster fire showing at the CNN debate, an event that sent Democrats into panic mode as a national television audience got to see the real Biden and not the one that had been falsely depicted by the media.

Fear that Biden’s deteriorating condition could cost his party control over the levers of political power has ignited a frantic effort to oust him from the top of the ticket, one that is being spearheaded by former President Barack Obama and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and after weeks of damaging leaks to the media, the effort looks to be entering a new and more aggressive phase.

“We need a presidential nominee who has the best chance to beat Trump, and an increasingly large majority of Democrats believe that President Biden is not that candidate and should step aside,” said progressive activist Aaron Regunberg, a former Rhode Island Democrat lawmaker who’s a co-founder of the mysterious group that bills itself as a ‘grass roots” organization.

“Tens of thousands of Democratic voters have made phone calls, sent emails, and held actions in battleground states through Pass the Torch. But the President still hasn’t gotten the message. That’s why we’re organizing something that’s harder to ignore—a demonstration in front of the White House. Because we have not resigned ourselves to a second Trump presidency. We still have time to avert catastrophe and change course,” Regunberg said in a statement, according to Mediaite.

“I think it’s very clear that President Joe Biden has done so much for us, and it’s time for him to step down and it’s time for Vice President Kamala Harris to step up with a new vice president,” Claudia Nachega, one of the protesters who is calling for Biden’s dizzy DEI veep to get a promotion, believing the she has a better chance against Trump.

“Biden was polling poorly before his debate. Now he’s even further behind, and his chances of making up the ground look worse and worse based on his performances,” Pass the Torch states on its website. “We don’t need to resign ourselves to the absolute catastrophe of a second Trump term – and more and more respected Democratic leaders and institutions are joining this call.”

The group’s website features quotes by Democrats including Pelosi who Biden is reportedly not happy with for what he sees as her orchestrating the overthrow effort.

“The party that Biden has devoted his life to is unleashing a new and really public effort to push him out of challenging Donald Trump for the White House. A slew of House Democrats have joined two more prominent Democratic senators tonight in calling for Biden to step aside,” said CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Friday.

“All of it, we are told has President Biden seething tonight with much of his anger directed at Nancy Pelosi. That’s because some of the names that are calling for him to drop out of the race or her close allies and in the view from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, tonight where President Biden finds himself,” she added, according to Mediaite.

Biden is currently hunkered down in his Delaware bunker after being yanked off the campaign trail over a positive COVID test last week and has stubbornly refused to quit.
