Dem Rep tight-lipped over alleged feud between Boebert and MTG: ‘What happens in the ladies room…’

Reps. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., and Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., reportedly threw down in a bathroom, getting into a near-screaming match and continuing their feud over now-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

A new report by The Daily Beast claims that the two conservative lawmakers had it out in the women’s restroom on January 3 as House Republicans were locked in a heated battle over who deserved the speakership.

Greene was firmly on team McCarthy, while Boebert did not support him. According to the Beast’s sources, Greene confronted Boebert in the restroom, claiming the Colorado representative had taken money from McCarthy when she ran for reelection. But now that he needed her support, Boebert was casting her vote elsewhere.

“You were OK taking millions of dollars from McCarthy but you refuse to vote for him for Speaker, Lauren?” a source claims Greene said.

That’s when Boebert clapped back at Greene, advising the lawmaker not to “be ugly.” And because it’s the Daily Beast, they made sure to add that the source characterized Boebert’s leaving the hostile encounter as running out “like a little schoolgirl.”

“What happens in the ladies’ room stays in the ladies’ room,” said Democratic Representative Debbie Dingell, who allegedly witnessed the tense encounter but refused to dish on the dirty details.

Heated confrontations are nothing new for the lawmakers, though. As American Wire previously reported, lipreaders claim that Boebert boldly told Greene to “get the f**k out of my face” during a discussion on the House floor. While it’s unclear what exactly was said, and if f-bombs were thrown, it’s more than obvious that the two ladies are not happy with each other.

“Indeed, during an appearance last month at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference, Boebert was asked about Greene’s support for McCarthy,” the piece reads. “In response, she talked some trash.”

“‘I’ve been aligned with Marjorie and accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in. I don’t believe in this, just like I don’t believe in Jewish space lasers,’ she said, according to Vice magazine.”
