Dem senator pushes bonkers claim that Trump was ‘at the center of a child sex ring’

Desperate Democrats have once again accused President Donald Trump of running or being part of some sort of child sex trafficking ring.

The latest iteration of this accusation was made Friday at the Texas Tribune Festival by loudmouth Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy.

During an interview with Bulwark managing editor Sam Stein, Murphy was asked for his take on President Donald Trump’s annoyed, frustrated reaction to Congress’s continued focus on the Epstein files.

“Well, he is in daily panic mode as we get closer to the moment where these files and the fullest truth that we have available to us is going to be made public,” the senator replied. “And it is clearly the biggest scandal in presidential history.”

“And he wouldn’t be acting this way if he wasn’t so deeply worried about what sits in those files. What we’ve already seen is immensely incriminating. Clearly, Donald Trump was at the center of a child sex ring,” he added.

Murphy continued by saying that it’s “heartbreaking” that President Trump “was involved in that kind of gross, craven immorality” that was associated with deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his clique.

“And it stands to reason that he wouldn’t be fighting so hard to spin against this story or bullying Republicans in the House to prevent the release of these files if there wasn’t something especially and specifically incriminating in that information,” the senator argued.

His remarks come weeks after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries accused the president and congressional Republicans of running a “pedophile protection program.”

Jeffries issued the wild accusation during a Capitol Hill press conference concerning the then-ongoing Schumer shutdown.

“All Republicans care about is the opinion of one man, the puppet master of the Republican Party, Donald J. Trump,” he began. “They don’t care about anything else.”

“How else can you explain the fact that they are weaponizing hunger? How else can one explain the fact that they refuse to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, and they’re hurting their own constituents?” he added.

“How else can you explain the fact that Republicans have canceled votes now for six consecutive weeks — missing in action, taxpayer-funded vacations, running the pedophile protection program — while doing nothing to make life better for the American people,” Jeffries continued.

And then earlier this week, increasingly turncoat “Republican” Rep. Thomas Massie accused those of his colleagues who voted against the Epstein files discharge bill of trying to “cover up for pedophiles.”

Speaking with CNN’s Manu Raju, Massie urged his colleagues to side against the president and vote to approve a bill that would compel the Department of Justice to release the official Epstein files.

“The deal for Republicans on this vote is that Trump will protect you if you vote the wrong way,” he said. “In other words, if you vote to cover up for pedophiles, you’ve got cover in a Republican primary.”

“But I would remind my colleagues that this vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you’re in a debate, either with a Republican or a Democrat, and they say, ‘How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025,’” he added.

It’s not clear what’s motivating so many Democrats and a handful of treacherous Republicans to obsess over the so-called Epstein files, aside for, of course, pure anti-Trump animus and venom.
