Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is known for his fiery personality and his unwillingness to bow down before the angry left-wing mob that has attacked him for years.
So what better ad to showcase his fighting spirit than one mirroring the hit movie “Top Gun: Maverick”?
The governor’s wife Casey DeSantis posted the amazing ad with the caption: “Top Gov… Dogfighting… Taking on the Corporate Media… Rules of Engagement are as Follows.”

“Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is your Governor speaking,” says DeSantis. “Today’s training evolution: dogfighting. Taking on the corporate media.”
“The rules of engagement are as follows: Number one, don’t fire unless fired upon, but when they fire, you fire back with overwhelming force,” he continued, explaining his tactics to combatting a hostile media presence.
The video cuts to a clip of him taking on a reporter over the controversial “Parental Rights in Education” legislation, which the media had incorrectly dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
“Number two, never ever back down from a fight,” DeSantis advises as the ad cuts back to another exchange between the governor and a reporter.
“Number three, don’t accept their narrative.”
The ad concludes with DeSantis in a fighter jet’s cockpit, carrying his son in his lap who says: “Let’s turn and burn!”

DeSantis will be facing former Republican-turned-Democrat Rep. Charlie Crist in the general election as the two battle it out for the governor’s seat. Crist won the Democratic primary on Tuesday beating outspoken DeSantis foe Nikki Fried by scoring a whopping 60 percent of the votes.
While Crist was able to take the win among Democrats, he is facing a tough battle against incumbent DeSantis, who reportedly holds an eight-point lead as well as a 54% approval rating.
