Disturbing new footage shows accused child rapist busted for DUI with 6 kids he calls ‘friends’ in the car

Police bodycam footage shows accused child rapist Jeremy Guthrie being busted for driving under the influence with six young boys and girls in his truck, telling an officer they are “friends” of his as he gets out of the vehicle with his pants unbuttoned.

He reportedly had empty bottles of tequila and Fireball whiskey in the truck as well, according to the New York Post. Guthrie was arrested last year in New Mexico after being pulled over for driving erratically and disturbing bodycam footage has resurfaced from July 5, 2022, which shows the 41-year-old alleged pedophile driving, getting pulled over, and then speaking incoherently with officers.

When officers cautiously approached the truck they were surprised to find it full of children that Guthrie claimed were “his friends” and slurred that they were all 18, which obviously was not true.

He fumbled his wallet when asked for his driver’s license.

“There’s your wallet right there, between your legs,” the officer pointed out to Guthrie.

He finally handed over the wallet and told the officer, “Sorry, just a little bit nervous.”

Guthrie was then told to step out of the vehicle and the officer noticed his pants were unbuttoned. He began insisting he hadn’t had anything to drink despite reeking of booze.

“Have you ever suffered a traumatic brain injury?” an officer asked Guthrie who looked totally perplexed by the question as another went back to speak with the children in the truck.

“Possibly, how would you know such things?” Guthrie responded and also said it was possible that he had a condition that affected his balance.

An officer gave Guthrie a sobriety field test that he bombed spectacularly. He could not recite the alphabet from H through S for the officer. When counting down from 62 to 47 he skipped the 50s altogether and plodded slowly into the 30s. He revisited the alphabet puzzle and told the officer, “I don’t like that one.”

At that point, he was cuffed, charged with a DUI, and six counts of child abuse.

The children’s parents arrived at the scene to pick up their children. All of this took place around 1 AM and it is unclear why the parents had let their children be out that late.

The twins’ legal guardians reportedly said Guthrie picked up the girls, took them to his house, and gave them alcohol before his DUI arrest, according to the Daily Express.

After he was booked, he was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl who was in the truck at the time. The girl had a miscarriage during a year of alleged sexual abuse by Guthrie. He is suspected of raping her twin sister as well.

Not long after Guthrie was arrested, the twin girls’ grandmother informed police that he’d been raping and sexually abusing the girls for over a year.

“It makes me sick. I’m livid about what he did to my granddaughters,” the girls’ grandmother angrily told KRQE News 13 in an interview. “And he’s just a very, very sick person.”

One of the twins told officers that she met Guthrie on Snapchat and that he’d been regularly raping her “over a lengthy time span,” according to the Albuquerque Journal. The girl said that he recorded at least one of the assaults and that he used cocaine, methamphetamine, and owned numerous guns.

Guthrie is also suspected of raping at least one other underage girl, according to the Albuquerque Journal. From jail, Guthrie reportedly texted one of the twins asking for money, using what he claimed was a prison guard’s phone.

He’s still behind bars in Albuquerque’s Metropolitan Detention Center, according to records, and is awaiting trial.
