DNC mocked for asinine Trump TACO truck stunt

Even members of their own base appear to be fed up with the Democrats after the latest stunt against the president involved tacos proving them, “the lamest opposition in American history.”

It’s been said that the left can’t meme, and on Tuesday, the Democratic National Committee seemingly demonstrated its inability to read the room and quit while still behind. Straying from the typical mobile services of unborn baby murder and sterilization, a taco truck was hired to hand out free food as part of the ongoing effort to force the acronym Trump Always Chickens Out (TACO) into a thing.

Having learned zero lessons after then-First Lady Jill Biden had compared Hispanics to “breakfast tacos,” Democrats asserted “Sí se pwaud-way” when it came to pandering and pathetic displays of trolling. This included setting up a taco truck near the Republican National Committee headquarters and offering free tacos to staffers, all while displaying a banner depicting President Donald Trump in a chicken suit with their acronym spelled out.

Reacting to the “scoop” from Axios reporter Andrew Solender, who covered the brief exercise in banality, Vice President J.D. Vance bluntly expressed, “We have the lamest opposition in American history.”

Of course, the astroturf effort that may well hold a prominent place on a DNC staffer’s vision board was only part of the self-imposed embarrassment from the same party that endeavored to make “Dark Brandon” a thing before trotting out the flamboyant Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to claim that Republicans are weird.

On top of forcing the term into their vernacular and posting pictures of tacos, like Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, who said, “It’s TACO Tuesday on Capitol Hill! I hear the White House celebrates every day,” National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Mike Marinella told Fox News Digital that the DNC failed to even set up shop in the correct place.

“Looks like the Democrats took a break from fighting amongst themselves to stage a pathetic stunt. The most embarrassing part? They couldn’t even get the location right,” said Marinella. “You can’t fix stupid.”

As it happened, Tuesday’s attempt at trolling the president, nearly a week after he had already smacked down a corporate media reporter for failing to understand the negotiation process with tariffs, also followed California Rep. Eric Swalwell getting ridiculed for his own taco-themed stunt as he ate Taco Bell at his desk.

While considerable mocking ensued from the right, even voices from the leftist haven, Bluesky, were expressing shame over what the Democratic Party considered to be actions worth wasting time and money on to further their obstruction of Trump.

“Democracy on fire and the largest opposition doesn’t call for a national strike, impeachment, halt to congressional stock trading, or visiting their own states to create a movement,” said one frustrated user. “They give away a few hundred tacos to a few hundred people. Pure uselessness.”
