‘Does the giggler have clout if Biden drops out?’ Gutfeld explores Harris’ 2024 prospects – as only he can

In a focus on yet another staffer from Vice President Kamala Harris’ office departing, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld entertained her future career possibilities.

Calling Harris “America’s worst laugher,” Gutfeld asked: “Does the giggler have clout if Biden drops out?”

The “Gutfeld!” host joked that the vice president’s office is the “most popular office to leave since Matt Lauer’s,” this being the disgraced former NBC anchor who was fired for sexually inappropriate behavior.

Jamal Simmons, who served as the VP’s communications director, announced this week that he’s leaving after about a year on the job — he was the second communications director in under two years.

“It was an honor to serve such a historic Vice President,” Simmons said in a statement to CNN. “I’ll be talking about this job for the rest of my life. I won’t miss the hours but I will miss the people.”

The Fox News host noted that Simmons’ wife got a job in New York, necessitating the need to “get the hell away from this cackling nut job,” adding that you know things are bad when people move TO New York.

Somewhat surprisingly, Gutfeld noted that if President Biden does not run in 2024 — the president insists he will  — Harris is the favorite choice among Democrats. He showed the results of a poll that had the VP ahead by double digits in a field that included Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, as well as Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
