‘Donald Trump doesn’t freeze!’ Trump dispels ‘fake story’ about ‘glitch’ in NRA speech

Former President Trump paused during his NRA speech for a lengthy 35 seconds on Saturday, causing the leftist media to pounce calling it a “glitch” while Trump said it was deliberate and that he didn’t freeze.

The left could not wait to mock Trump for the National Rifle Association extended rally speech pause in Dallas, Texas. The former president spoke in front of thousands of supporters. When his podium wobbled because it was not installed properly, they also accused him of almost falling down on stage. Ironically, President Biden has actually fallen down numerous times and not due to a faulty podium setup.

The pause came at the beginning of a musical interlude that the Trump campaign has used for over two years. It appears that the pause was deliberate.

“It was clearly a strong dramatic effect, which has occurred previously because when any American reflects upon the disastrous Biden presidency, they can’t help but be concerned about the direction of the country,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement.

The pause came after this segment of his speech, “The Texas spirit of proud independence was forged by cowboys and cattle hands, ranchers and rangers, oil workers, soldiers, and brave, brave, brave, pioneers. Many came here with nothing but the boots or their feet, the clothes on their back, and the gun in their saddle. Together they helped make America into the single greatest nation in the history of the world.”

After the interlude, Trump continued, “But now we are a nation in decline. We are a failing nation. We are a nation that has the highest inflation in 58 years, where banks are collapsing, and interest rates are skyrocketing.”

Trump, who has been constantly maligned by leftists, was incensed over yet another phony “gotcha” moment.

“My Speech in Dallas this weekend at the NRA’s ‘Endorsement of President Donald J. Trump,’ was attended by a Record Crowd of very enthusiastic Patriots. The Biden Campaign, however, put out a Fake Story that I ‘froze’ for 30 seconds, going into the ‘Musical Interlude’ section, when in actuality, the 30 to 60-second period of silence is standard in every one of my Speeches where we use the Music,” Trump stated on Truth Social Sunday.

“Check out any of my Speeches! The reason they came up with this Disinformation is that Biden freezes all the time, can’t put two sentences together, and can rarely find his way off the stage without help. Donald Trump doesn’t freeze! It is a MADE UP Biden Campaign story, put out in a dying Newspaper that I never heard of, and every Reporter knows it, including the large group that was there…” he concluded.

Mediaite claimed that Biden has not “frozen” for 35 seconds during a campaign speech. Biden has done very few campaign speeches, so that may be accurate. But in interviews, he glitches all the time.

Back in March, during a packed rally in North Carolina, Trump’s pause lasted 47 seconds. That quiet interlude was punctuated by chants and cheers from the crowd. You did not hear that during the NRA speech but those types of outbursts may not have been allowed. However, that did not stop media outlets from making baseless claims about the pause.

As for the podium episode, it evidently had not been installed correctly and almost caused an accident.

“…As far as the podium, I actually stopped it from falling due to good reflexes and strength, two elements which Joe Biden does not possess. Check out the clip! Crooked Joe is a completely incompetent and corrupt person, even when it comes to putting out a fake story like this,” Trump asserted.

Conservatives clapped back at leftists concerning the pause by Trump:
