Elderly customer clings to life after hulking Wendy’s worker sucker punches him for complaining

Disturbing surveillance footage captured a rather large Wendy’s employee sucker punching an elderly customer who was reportedly unhappy with his order.

The incident took place in Prescott Valley, Arizona, on July 26, when the black employee, Antoine Kendrick, 35, was seen in footage coming around the counter and punching the 67-year-old white man in the head.

“The man is seen hunched over and licking his Frosty when Kendrick comes out from behind the counter,” 3TV/CBS5 reported. “To the unsuspecting man, Kendrick comes up next to him and immediately throws a punch, hitting the customer in the head, police said. The man falls to the ground as other customers are standing and watching. Kendrick looks at the man lying on the ground before he walks behind the counter, grabs some stuff, and walks away.”

The man was knocked unconscious and sustained further injuries when his head hit the floor. He was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.

“Oh, wow that was a pretty hard hit. That was a Mike Tyson hit,” a customer told the affiliate. “The customer didn’t touch him, so he had no right to touch the customer, period, end of story. I just think that’s horrible and wish it didn’t happen. It puts a bad light on our entire society.”

Kendrick was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He had a history of aggravated assault arrests while living in Tennessee, according to The Blaze.

“In 2013, he was charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault as well as with resisting arrest. In 2016, he was charged with aggravated criminal trespass, aggravated assault, and evading arrest. In 2019, he was charged with harassment and again with aggravated assault,” the outlet reported.
