Free vacation! The Bidens enjoy $20m beachfront estate owned by Democrat megadonor

President Joe Biden, who’s reportedly on pace to take more vacations than any other president, is on vacation again — this time with his family, including his son Hunter, at a lavish $20 million beachfront estate in South Carolina owned by a Democrat Party megadonor.

And not just any Democrat Party megadonor, but one who’s donated to Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Barack Obama, and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to the Daily Mail.

“The nine-bed retreat is owned by Maria Allwin, 66, the wealthy widow of New York hedge fund mogul James Allwin and a long-time Democratic Party donor. Allwin, who has homes in Connecticut and Manhattan, shares Aetos Captial with her son Christopher Allwin – an asset management firm with $11.31 billion under management,” the Daily Mail reported Thursday.

Must be nice …

It should come as no surprise that Allwin has also donated to reviled “Republican” Rep. Liz Cheney’s reelection campaign. Many conservatives no longer consider her a Republican given her habit of spouting Democrat Party talking points.

Dovetailing back to the president’s vacation, it’s supposed to be a weeklong “family” vacation featuring the whole bunch, including his son Hunter Biden, who’s currently under federal investigation over his shady business habits.

The family reportedly arrived at the estate on Wednesday, much to the chagrin of some locals who responded by protesting.

Allwin and her husband reportedly bought the estate for $1.2 million back in 1991. However, she recently briefly placed it back on the market for $20 million.

“This architecturally significant 10,500 square foot home sits on a rare 2.07-acre double oceanfront lot with 200 feet of ocean frontage, located within the Southeast’s most exclusive and desirable resorts, Kiawah Island,” the since-deleted property listing read.

“A private 400 foot driveway leads you to this sprawling seaside estate, which provides an ocean side saline pool with a travertine surround, a separate pool house, and a manicured back lawn with a bridged walkway to the beach,” the listing continued.

“The home’s exterior is built with cedar shingles and a hipped, standing seam copper roof, punctuated by copper gutters. The circular drive approaches an impressive front facade, where the limestone stairway leads to Tischler double-doors. From the foyer, the home’s interior grandeur comes into complete and awe inspiring focus.”

Again, must be nice …

As previously reported by the Daily Mail, the current president is on track to take more vacation days than any other U.S. president.

“So far since taking office, Biden has spent 188 full or partial days away from the White House vacationing in either of his two Delaware properties, at Camp David or on the Massachusetts island of Nantucket. … At the rate of vacation days he is currently at, the president is on track to spend around 550 days away from the White House in the four years of his first term – and would amount to just 1,106 for two terms,” the outlet reported in June.

Former President Donald Trump only took 381 days of vacation, by contrast.

Relatedly, Biden’s vacation comes amid the FBI’s controversial raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property, as noted in a comedic rant Thursday by Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld.

“So as the country reels from a bizarre, historic raid of a former President’s House, our current president leaves for vacation. … What a stark contrast to how Trump’s family got treated this week. Biden and Pelosi flying around, Trump’s house gets raided,” he said on Fox News’ “Gutfeld!

Listen:

The vacation also comes at a time when the U.S. is on the verge of war with China and inflation is crushing Americans.

As noted earlier, Hunter has tagged along on the president’s vacation. This has some wondering why the vacation home isn’t also being raided, given the vast array of crimes that he’s been accused of committing.

It’s almost like there’s a double standard at play …
