X CEO Elon Musk has agreed to fight Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
Maduro took exception to Musk’s opinion on the recent presidential election, which has sparked anti-government protests in Venezuela.
“The people voted overwhelmingly for [Edmundo] Gonzalez,” Musk tweeted.

The National Electoral Council, a Maduro-controlled entity, handed him the victory citing a margin of 51% to his opponent’s 44%. This did not sit well with supporters of Gonzales, who have taken to the streets to voice their displeasure.
Maduro turned his anger to Musk, challenging him to a fight in a video. Musk quickly accepted, predicting Maduro will “chicken out” before following through.
JUST IN: Elon Musk accepts Venezuelan Dictator Nicolás Maduro’s challenge to a fight.
Just when you thought 2024 couldn’t get any crazier.

“Elon Musk, you are desperate. You went off the rails. Control yourself, or you will fail just like these right-wing-led all-American politicians. Elon Musk, whoever messes with me dries up. Whoever messes with Venezuela dries up, Elon Musk. You want to fight? Let’s have it, Elon Musk,” Maduro ranted.
“I am ready. I am the son of Bolivar and Chavez. I am not afraid of you, Elon Musk,” he continued. “Let’s go at it, wherever you want, as we say in Caracas in the neighborhoods. If you want it, I want it, Elon Musk. Just say where.”
