Errol Musk is worried about the safety of his billionaire son, Elon.
Two of Elon’s companies, Tesla and SpaceX, have recently been targeted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in what many see as further proof that the DOJ has been “weaponized” by the Biden administration.
The elder Musk pointed to a recent Ronan Farrow article for the New Yorker titled, “Elon Musk’s Shadow Rule.”
In it, Farrow noted Elon’s criticism of the Ukraine’s war with Russia and his frustration with being strongarmed into continuing to provide Ukraine with free Starlink communications services.
“There is little precedent for a civilian’s becoming the arbiter of a war between nations in such a granular way, or for the degree of dependency that the U.S. now has on Musk in a variety of fields, from the future of energy and transportation to the exploration of space,” Farrow wrote. “SpaceX is currently the sole means by which NASA transports crew from U.S. soil into space, a situation that will persist for at least another year.”
“It’s a hit job, a shadow government-sponsored opening salvo on Elon,” Errol told The Sun. “The artillery-like softening up of the enemy before the actual attack and preparing of the ever-submissive people for the attack.”
Elon responded to the article on X, writing, “Tragic that Ronan Farrow is a puppet of the establishment and against the people.”

When The Sun asked Musk’s dad, a 77-year-old retired electromechanical engineer, if he believed the “shadow government” would attempt to assassinate his son, Errol replied, “Yes.”
As BizPac Review reported, just days after Farrow’s was published, the DOJ launched a discrimination lawsuit against SpaceX for its failure to hire people seeking asylum and refugees.

On X, Elon punched back at the Justice Department, claiming the DOJ was coming after his company “for political purposes.”
“SpaceX was told repeatedly that hiring anyone who was not a permanent resident of the United States would violate international arms trafficking law, which would be a criminal offense,” he stated. “We couldn’t even hire Canadian citizens, despite Canada being part of NORAD! This is yet another case of weaponization of the DOJ for political purposes.”
Days later, news broke that federal prosecutors are examining Tesla’s allocation of funds towards a secret project, known internally as “Project 42,” which involves the construction of an expansive glass building in the Austin, Texas, area.
Though Errol claimed that Elon, too, fears for his safety, it is difficult to know how seriously one should take what Errol has to say.
Elon has been quite candid on X about his strained relationship with his father.
“My father created a small electrical/mechanical engineering company that was successful for 20 to 30 years, but it fell on hard times,” he wrote in May. “He has been essentially bankrupt for about 25 years, requiring financial support from my brother and me.”
I grew up in a lower, transitioning to upper, middle income situation, but did not have a happy childhood. Haven’t inherited anything ever from anyone, nor has anyone given me a large financial gift.

“Our condition of providing him financial support was that he not engage in bad behavior,” Elon said. “Unfortunately, he nonetheless did. There are young children involved, so we continued to provide financial support for their well-being.”
He noted that even he doesn’t know what to believe from his father, who once claimed he owned part of an emerald mine in Zambia.
“Regarding the so-called ’emerald mine’, there is no objective evidence whatsoever that this mine ever existed. He told me that he owned a share in a mine in Zambia, and I believed him for a while, but nobody has ever seen the mine, nor are there any records of its existence,” Elon wrote. “If this mine was real, he would not require financial support from my brother and me.”
