After months of online speculation surrounding the assassination of her husband, widow Erika Kirk and commentator Candace Owens are slated to have a “productive conversation.”
Since the Christian patriot and founder of Turning Point USA was murdered on September 10 during a tour stop at Utah Valley University, some have questioned the official narrative regarding the alleged assassin and whether or not the man worked alone. Chief among those said to be spreading conspiracy theories has been Owens, who confirmed over the weekend that she was “very much looking forward” to a sit-down with Kirk.
Sunday, the grieving widow and mother took to X to share limited information about the upcoming meeting and wrote, “Candace Owens and I are meeting for a private, in-person discussion on Monday, December 15. [Owens] and I have agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting. I look forward to a productive conversation. Thank you.”
Moments later, Owens replied with her own post, “I am very much looking forward to this discussion.”

The expected meetup comes the same day that “The Charlie Kirk Show” had scheduled to do a livestream going over every allegation that the commentator had made in the wake of the assassination, to which they had invited Owens to participate.
Before disputing how the event had been scheduled, she responded to producer Blake Neff’s post, indicating that she would not join the stream by posting, “It has been decided by the public that the best response for this is for my team to livestream your livestream and provide commentary. Since you already picked our regular podcasting time, we look forward to providing live responses to your ‘once and for all’ answers.”

Amid a media circuit promoting her assassinated husband’s last book, “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life,” Kirk addressed those spreading conspiracy theories about his murder.
In particular, during an interview with Fox News’s Harris Faulkner, she’d likened herself to Nehemiah, busy building, and said, “I do not have time to address the noise. My silence does not mean that I am complacent. My silence does not mean that somehow Turning Point USA and all of the handpicked staff — that loved my husband and my husband loved them — is somehow in on it. We are busy building.”
“You know what I thought? I thought these people are human. We are all grieving in our own way, and they are trying to find the answer to something that happened that was so evil. They are trying so hard, and I get that. We’re doing the same,” she went on.

Erika called out people who are demanding to know where Charlie is buried and claiming TPUSA was somehow involved in Charlie’s death.

Reactions to the announced meeting not only encouraged ample security for the participants, but also hoped that a recording would be made should anything need to be verified in the aftermath of the “productive conversation.”
Praying for you and that Candace will somehow enter into this in good faith. You’re wise to try to resolve privately. ❤️
