A home in Arlington, VA exploded into a massive fireball on Monday as SWAT was serving a warrant in response to reports the resident had fired shots and 30-40 flares into the surrounding neighborhood.
The alleged details of the man involved are exceedingly strange. The incident went viral on social media and so did the reported facts that sleuths dug up.
The man living in the duplex is purported to be James Yoo according to reporter Nick Sortor. He contends that Yoo is unhinged and the allegations about him are unnerving. The condition of his neighbors was unknown following the explosion.
“Here are the key facts about the guy who seems to have blown up his home: He’s a far leftist that posts anti-white hatred and quotes Noam Chomsky. He accused his neighbors of being spies on social media just three days ago. He had a previous encounter with the FBI. He filed countless frivolous lawsuits against his own sister and wife. He was the former Head of Global Security at the US government’s ‘Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS)’. Yoo was CLEARLY spiraling out of control mentally, being committed to a mental institution by his wife and younger sister. This is why he sued them. He believed he was being followed by the US government,” Sotor claimed. “If he wasn’t being watched before, he DEFINITELY ended up on a watch list after he OBSESSIVELY emailed hundreds of people at the FBI and DOJ—including FBI Director Wray, Robert Mueller, and US Attorney James Kennedy. As a result, the FBI showed up to Yoo’s house in 2017.”

Yoo evidently fixated on suing people. A LOT of people.
Yoo spent an INSANE amount of time writing up lawsuits containing several hundred pages each, suing everyone from family members, their employers, hospitals, police departments, and more.
The suits never gained any traction, so he tried going to the FBI and DOJ to no avail.

The man’s paranoia was growing exponentially according to reports. He started accusing his neighbors of being spies just days before his home blew up.
Fast forward to three days ago:
James Yoo’s paranoia grew stronger and stronger, and he began PUBLICLY accusing his neighbors, that lived on the other side of his duplex, of literally being spies.
He made a serious of LinkedIn posts accusing them of this, and even included… pic.twitter.com/QK49EMLvq0

Yoo was known to the FBI before the incident. By all reported accounts, he sounds schizophrenic and extremely mentally ill.
The explosion in Arlington, Virginia has a very creepy backstory. The man involved, James Woo, was known to the FBI because of his bizarre, incessant emails to US attorneys and members of government. He appears to be a far left follower of Noam Chomsky but I don’t think this was… pic.twitter.com/HFe0PsDKSN

I read through a ton of the documents James Yoo had posted and here’s my personal analysis: this is a case of extreme mental illness. Examining his letters to US attorneys, former special counsel Robert Mueller and various lawyers, I kept asking where the “WHY” was. He spins… pic.twitter.com/shnoOnRKvq

There are reports that Yoo opened fire on SWAT when they drove their truck into the home because he would not answer when called out over the warrant. Then SWAT reversed course and was going to drive through a front window. That’s when the duplex reportedly exploded. No officers were seriously hurt in the explosion.
Fox News reported on some of his now-deleted LinkedIn posts, “The posts refer to his ex-wife as a ‘witch,’ and anti-U.S. slogans including ‘#F—AMERICA’ and quotes from Noam Chomsky.”
“The profile description claims he is a ‘Former Head of Information and Physical Security for international telecommunication company,'” the news outlet continued.
“I gave THEM / Y’ALL every opportunity to ‘do the right thing’ and all I see is America’s hypocrisy, corruption, fraud, conspiracy…” Yoo’s bio asserted.
“In one of his most recent posts, from Dec. 1, he posted a rant about his neighbor’s ‘activity’ and that, ‘This is how White people operate and have the luxury of outnumbering all other ‘races’ by almost 7 to 1 in ‘Merica.’ In another post from late October, he claimed that he was being targeted with ‘hateful messaging’ and made reference to assassination,” Fox News wrote.
The Arlington explosion was caused by a far left, anti white, had been institutionalized before by his wife, was paranoid the government was following and spying on him-to name a few specs.

Neighbors described Yoo as a recluse who put aluminum foil over his windows.
There is no word on what charges he will face after the explosion.
