Shoplifting remains a serious problem in California, with retailers in some areas opting to permanently shut their doors because theft losses are unsustainable — the California Retailers Association points to Prop 47, the Democrat-backed law that reduced the felony threshold for petty theft and shoplifting, as a major contributor.
California residents pay the ultimate price in a more restricted retail environment, if not fewer options to shop, higher prices, and the risk of personal injury during crime sprees that frequently involve gangs of suspects. There’s also the sheer frustration of seeing so many people emboldened by criminal-friendly Democratic prosecutors who feel they are above the law.
And, at least in one case going viral, Californians have had enough. In a video making the rounds, a man confronted two black women wearing hoodies as the crooks sacked a TJ Maxx in Mira Loma, which is just east of Los Angeles.
One woman manages to skirt the fed-up customer, who tried to prevent them from leaving with armloads of bags stuffed with stolen merchandise. As she exited the store, the man grabbed the bags her female partner is carrying. That’s when the second woman proved she was no lady, as she began punching the man in the face.
After battling with the crook the customer managed to wrestle the woman to the ground briefly, but she would eventually escape — without her booty. Par for the course, she played the role of victim when she demanded, “What the f–k. Let me go!”

Police took a report, but there have been no arrests — not that it would likely matter.
Liberals, who are largely responsible for the current environment, flipped out when a reporter referred to the man, who happened to be white, as a good Samaritan.
Given that this is California, the likelihood is far greater that the white man is arrested:
he will probably go to jail.

Don’t ever put your hands on a woman. Mind your business. Yes, he should be charged.

There’s a growing indication that people are weary of the lawlessness that now defines much of American society — even if the agenda-driven media largely ignores it.
Here’s a quick sampling of other responses from Twitter:
I think he’s trying to protect the social contract – not the store.

People are starting to get pissed off with the state of affairs. It is only a matter of time before good people will have to start doing bad things.

Many citizens are fed up being bystanders while our society is breaking apart. Paycheck cops won’t/ can’t arrest them but cops can at the very least stop them and taking back the merchandise.

The last 2 times I was in Marshall’s (Phoenix and Seattle) I saw someone load up bags and walk out. Both times the cashiers said something, but they have been told not to go after any shoplifter.
