Megyn Kelly trashed Megan Rapinoe again for poisoning the US soccer team while calling them “morons” for embarrassing the United States by refusing to sing the national anthem.
On Tuesday, the firebrand journalist dragged the soccer star six ways from Sunday. Kelly says she is rooting for the team to lose.
The US barely advanced with a 0-0 draw against Portugal, according to the Daily Mail. Once again, the majority of the team did not sing the national anthem before the match.
Rapino was not a starter but Kelly contends that the 38-year-old player is responsible for the deplorable attitude of the team.

“Megan Rapinoe, she’s the leader of all this… She’s not a starter. So that’s why she’s not on camera when they’re doing the national anthem, but she’s behind a lot of this,” Kelly bluntly asserted on her show Tuesday.
“She’s poisoned the entire team against the country for which they play. I don’t know about you, but I’m not rooting for them. I’m not with them. I hope they lose… It’s shameful. These girls are shameful. They ought to be ashamed of themselves,” the conservative host declared.
Rapinoe entered the Portugal draw in the 61st minute. She was notably not a starter for the match.
She’s entrenched in leftist activism these days far more than soccer it would seem, especially when it comes to the USA women’s national team. Kelly is not impressed.
The soccer sensation is an advocate for LGBTQ rights and supports transgenders in sports. She started her radical campaign when then-49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick knelt during the national anthem in 2016. Kaepernick was protesting against alleged police brutality with a heavy helping of proclaimed racism mixed in.

The team has made an unpatriotic spectacle of themselves during the Vietnam and Netherlands matches. Three American players, Alex Morgan, Julie Ertz, and Lindsey Horan bucked the team and could be seen singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the Portugal game with their hands over their hearts.
Kelly pointed out the shameful display by the team in New Zealand.
“They won’t put their hands on their hearts,” she commented. “They don’t feel prideful when they’re out there even though they’re representing the United States of America. Yes, we’ve got some flaws. Yes, there have been some warts, but we’re so much more good than we are bad.”
“I mean, they look like they don’t even want to be there. It’s like some sort of inconvenience to be representing the USA,” Kelly added.
Imagine spending billions of dollars and fifty years to create an unbeatable women’s soccer team, and the players on that team using their government paid-for platforms to demonize their investors. That’s the women’s national soccer team. That’s Megan Rapinoe. pic.twitter.com/fDnGJ49bFa

The team’s clueless members don’t seem cognizant enough to even be ashamed of their actions. They were all smiles after their underwhelming performance.
Portugal’s Ana Capeta almost dashed the US team’s dreams, as she smashed her shot off of the post. Despite that close call, Alex Morgan and Trinity Rodman could be seen posing for pictures with fans afterward as the squad barely advanced to the next round.
“These morons on the women’s soccer team continue to embarrass us on the national stage,” Kelly remarked.
Hey, US women’s soccer team – this is how much we in America value the sacrifices our men & women in uniform have made. And why we salute the flag & put our hands over our hearts during the Nat’l anthem & SING when it plays – esp when we are representing the USA. DO BETTER. https://t.co/NcFV9ZzzYz

“They got to a 0-0 tie with Portugal. They’ve only scored four goals in three games. It’s the first time ever, that the women’s team does not have at least two wins at this stage of the competition. And yet they’re celebrating out there like they’ve just won the whole thing,” she marveled.
The USA will play the Group G winner on Sunday after finishing as runners-up in Group E.
