First glimpse of Trump biopic released: ‘Not even good enough to meme’

Footage from the biopic of former President Donald Trump finally got released, and nobody is cheering.

The clip from ‘The Apprentice’ features Sebastian Stan as a young Trump and Jeremy Strong as his mentor, lawyer Roy Cohn. The lawyer is instructing Trump, both of whom are in the backseat of a vehicle, on how to handle the person on the other end of his phone. Cohn ends up taking the phone from Trump to reschedule the rest of the interview, as it’s clear the lawyer is not happy with his performance. Trump apologizes, and Cohn responds: “You’ve got a ways to go, but you’re learning.”

The movie is scheduled to be released on October 11, prior to the election, and many are concerned with the negative portrayal of the former president. Billionaire Dan Snyder helped fund the production of the film but was “furious” upon finding out that the movie was not going to be flattering toward Trump.
