Top prosecutor Keith Ellison celebrates Brazil after banning X, urges Walz to spread ‘Minnesota Message’

The North Star State’s top cop showed where leftists’ moral compasses truly point as he celebrated his governor’s White House hopes and the “Minnesota Message” with one of his own.

Rudyard Kipling’s poem “The Gods of the Copybook Headings” famously made note of “four things certain since Social Progress” began and Monday, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) demonstrated that as he could not help but be drawn in by the authoritarian actions taking place in Brazil.

The state prosecutor who’d assumed office alongside Gov. Tim Walz in 2019, having previously served as a congressman and deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, took to X Labor Day afternoon to seemingly applaud the South American nation’s crackdown on free speech by blocking the very same social media platform.

Writing a thank you message in Brazilian Portuguese, the Catholic apostate who became the first Muslim elected to Congress posted simply, “obrigado Brasil!”

His gratitude came after it had previously been reported that the nation’s Supreme Court justice Alexandre de Moraes had ordered X be blocked from access by those using Brazilian Internet service providers and that attempts to use VPNs to get around the ban of the free speech platform could result in fines of up to $9,000 per day.

Hours earlier, Ellison shared another Labor Day message to celebrate how his preferred flavor of Marxism was getting taken nationwide thanks to Vice President Kamala Harris tapping Walz to be her running mate for the Democrat Party.

Sharing a picture featuring Walz, the governor’s wife, Gwen, as well as himself and others, the AG again used X to write, “Happy Labor Day Everyone! So fun to see @GovTimWalz and First Lady Gwen off to Bring the Minnesota Message to folks all over America.”

Recently, a grandmother for their state reminded everyone of one of the greatest draconian hits that came courtesy of the leftist duo when she recounted how COVID tyranny had led to her arrest.

“He shut down a lot of the mom-and-pop shops, those folks that were just trying to make a living and provide a great product and a great service,” Lisa Hanson had told Fox News. “In contrast, he allowed big box stores, etc. to stay open. Really incredible an incredible use of tyranny against the people.”

“This is the story that America needs to hear, that Tim Walz is not some cuddly, joyful coach, like all the things that the MSMs are calling him. That is not who this man is. This man would like to take your rights away. He will take your rights away. Because what happened to me could have happened to anybody. What happened to me will happen to you,” she said recalling how her decision to reopen her so-called “non-essential” business resulted in her serving 60 days in jail.

“That time was stolen from me. My business was destroyed. My business is gone. After everything that happened, Tim Walz and Keith Ellison destroyed my business,” detailed Hanson. “They wrecked my life.”

Meanwhile, as X made clear they “would not comply with [de Moraes’] illegal orders to censor his political opponents,” the platform’s owner, Elon Musk, called out Ellison and his party for their blatant disregard for constitutional rights.

“The Democratic Party — same one that used to defend the First Amendment –now wants to destroy the First Amendment,” he wrote over a screenshot of the AG’s thank you to Brazil.
