While anti-ICE leftists may get a pass for their crazed behavior in blue states, Florida is vowing to make an example of them.
In Florida, a woman identified as Jennifer Cruz was arrested for allegedly punching a trooper in the face during an immigration law enforcement operation. Instead of treating her with kid gloves, Cruz found out first-hand that the rules are a whole lot different in the Sunshine State. She could also be seen in dashcam footage kicking out at another officer before he was forcefully introduced to the hood of a squad car, all while smiling.

“Don’t interfere with law enforcement, punch cops, or resist arrest in Florida. Don’t be like Jennifer,” state Attorney General James Uthmeier wrote in an X post.
Governor Ron DeSantis also addressed the violence, warning anti-ICE agitators that they are not going to get a “slap on the wrist” like blue states have been giving out.

“This is not Portland, where you can do this, get slapped on the wrist, and then get put right back on the street to do it again. If you do that, you’re going to be on the working end of a jail cell. that’s just the way it’s going to work,” he said. “We’re going to hold you accountable, particularly when you talk about our state troopers who are working with DHS to enforce federal immigration law.”
“There’s a lot of people on the far left that want an open border. They don’t want immigration enforcement. They think if someone comes illegally and commits felonies, they should be able to stay,” the governor continued. “That is not the law, in the United States of America. In fact, we just had a presidential election where the voters voted for Donald Trump in large part because Joe Biden had an open border and there were illegals coming from everywhere. So they can run on open border and try to change it for that, but the public does not want that.”
“If you’re trying to interrupt our law enforcement just doing their job, which keeps us safe, we are going to hold you accountable. And buckle up—you picked the wrong state to mess around with.”
Uthmeier joined Fox News to say that Cruz is facing state and federal charges, saying “we’re going to make an example here.”
