A former U.S. Capitol Police lieutenant has said that Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy “got a lot right” about the events of January 6, 2021, during his controversial CNN town hall appearance with moderator Abby Phillip.
Liberal heads melted down after Ramaswamy told CNN’s audience that he believed Jan. 6th was “an inside job.”
Too bad for CNN, we’ll take the TRUTH on Jan. 6 mainstream. There is clear evidence that there was at the very least entrapment of peaceful protestors, similar to the fake Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot & countless other cases. The FBI won’t admit how many undercover officers… pic.twitter.com/SBuc6nnymg

“If you had told me that January 6th was in any way an inside job, the subject of government entrapment, I would’ve told you that was crazy talk. Fringe conspiracy theory. Nonsense,” he told Phillip. “I can tell you now, having gone somewhat deep in this, it’s not.”
“The reality is we know that there were federal law enforcement agents in that field,” Ramaswamy said. “We don’t know how many. I think it’s shameful.”
CNN’s own Oliver Darcy had a fit over his network even allowing Ramaswamy to speak before a live audience.
“The notion that the infotainer, who CNN has reported ‘struggles for relevance’ as he polls in the low single digits and remains exceedingly unlikely to be the Republican Party’s nominee, deserves an hour-long national platform to sell his personal brand and insidious talking points to the masses taxes the imagination,” he wrote in CNN’s “Reliable Sources” newsletter. “Why would any major news network help to validate such a preposterous figure by putting him on stage and allowing him to infect the public with his conspiracy campaign?”
But, according to former Lt. Tarik Johnson, “Vivek Ramaswamy got a lot right in this interview.”
“I’ve been saying publicly for a year that J6 was not an insurrection but not many people would listen,” he wrote on Thursday.
Vivek Ramaswamy got a lot right in this interview. I’ve been saying publicly for a year that J6 was not an insurrection but not many people would listen. Johnson noted that “no one would benefit more than I if J6 was an insurrection as I (Tarik Johnson) was the Commander that ordered and led the evacuations of the Senate and the House during the J6 breach after begging former Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman for permission to do so as she sat comfortably in the Commander Center watching the events unfold on CCTV while Chief Steven A Sund was obtaining National Guard approval and getting assistance from local law enforcement agencies.”
“Pittman flat out ignored me so I was forced to forge ahead with the evacuations without obtaining approval from her,” he explained. “Three days later I decided to call Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont to report Pittman’s malfeasance and approximately an hour after I got off the phone with the senator I was contacted by the USCP internal affairs section and informed I was suspended.”
“The suspension lasted for 17 months and I was under a USCP gag order not to speak about the events of January 6, 2021 to the media until I separated from the Department,” he continued. “I was also required to remain in my house Monday through Friday from the hours of 8am to 4pm and unable to step off my property without notifying the USCP for fear of being disciplined up to and including termination during those 17 months.”
“These are SOME of many facts USCP Chief J Thomas Manger (who is arguably the most corrupt politician in the country) was brought in to cover-up,” he stated.
It isn’t the first time Johnson has attempted to tell the American people what he knows about that fateful day.
As BizPac Review reported, in March, while Tucker Carlson was still at Fox News, Johnson spoke out, accusing Pittman of withholding vital information about the protests.

“We should have been better prepared that day, and we could have been better prepared that day if the information was disseminated like it was supposed to be,” he told Carlson.
Despite the fact that his voice was “one of the first ones you hear on the audio transmission,” Johnson was never interviewed by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 Committee.
“I did expect to get an interview sometime, but no, it didn’t happen,” he said. “I guess the focus was on Donald Trump.”
Carlson was fired from Fox News the following month.
“If presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy would like more FACTS to disrupt the insurrection narrative, I will inbox his designated representative my personal phone number,” Johnson wrote on X. “God bless our country now and in 2024.”
While it is unclear if Ramaswamy will take Johnson up on his offer, the Millenial candidate did respond to the former lieutenant’s post, stating simply, “This is wild.”

“Drain the swamp!” one user on X urged Ramaswamy. “Make the public aware.”
