Super Bowl-winning former NFL head coach Tony Dungy presents a conundrum for the left, given that he is a black man of faith who speaks truth to power when it comes to his Christianity, which is why the media largely ignores him.
On Thursday, Dungy responded to the standard double-speak put forth by Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in support of killing unborn babies — Harris proclaimed that a woman “does not have to abandon their faith” to agree that no one should be telling a woman what to do with her body.
“Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time,” Dungy posted. “Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion? Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)? Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general ‘faith’ that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions? What ‘faith’ are you talking about?”

Dungy, the first black head coach to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the modern era, didn’t get any answers from the empty vessel installed as President Biden’s replacement.
He also reposted a tweet from former NFL player Benjamin Watson in response to Harris using the death of a Georgia woman, Amber Nicole Thurman, for political gain. Thurman, 28, traveled to North Carolina in Aug. 2022 because Georgia law does not allow abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy, and died after experiencing complications from abortion pills. Prior to her death, Thurman was diagnosed with “acute severe sepsis” after it was learned that she had not expelled all the fetal tissue from her body.
“Amber Thurman’s tragic death was caused by complications from legal abortion drugs and gross medical malpractice. She should have been treated immediately by physicians who instead waited too long to act. Georgia’s pro-life law is not the issue. It does not criminalize doing a D&C, especially when there is no detectable fetal heart rate. Amber should be alive, and [Kamala Harris] should focus her attention on these facts so we can prevent the next tragedy rather than promoting politically motivated falsehoods,” Watson posted.

Allie Beth Stuckey, a conservative Christian, went even further, blasting Harris while suggesting that Thurman “died from her abortion,” not because of a pro-life law.
“Malicious disinformation. This woman died from her abortion,” Stuckey said of Kamala’s post. “She tragically tried to abort her twins via a medication abortion. As is too often the case, parts of the baby were left inside her, which caused her to suffer from fatal sepsis. Yes, she should have received a D&C and antibiotics. But that is not the fault of any Georgia law, which fully permits a D&C when the baby has already passed. She died because of the abortion pills and because of the negligence of doctors. She did not die because of any pro-life law.”

The great irony in all of this is that when it comes to Big Pharma vaccines, Kamala Harris and her ilk are all about telling men AND women what to do with their bodies.
Here’s a quick sampling of supportive responses to the story, as seen on the free speech platform X:
