Former MAGA loyalist MTG warns Trump may use Iran to cancel presidential election

Former MAGA loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene is continuing her crusade against President Donald Trump in an interview with Alex Jones.

Speaking to Jones, Greene referenced a 2025 meeting between the president and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During this meeting, the topic of elections, which have been suspended in the country due to the ongoing war with Russia, was broached.

“So, you say, during the war, you can’t have elections? Three and a half years from now, so you mean if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections? Oh, that’s good,” Trump said, jokingly.

Now that her relationship with the president has soured in a very public way, Greene is saying she isn’t so sure if it is a joke.

“At the same time, knowing President Trump, I look at that and I thought, I don’t know if he- he’s saying it joking, but I don’t know if he’s joking,” the former lawmaker said.
